The name “Colombo” is the Italian form of “Colomba” the latin word for “dove”, which is the “Bird of Peace”. It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the every day occurrences that touch our lives. In 1992, thrown together on Cape Cod by political circumstances none of them could have predicted, four young Yugoslavs founded Pain D'Avignon.Their goal was to recreate the Old World Traditions using baking techniques and recipes barely changed in centuries. Their founding principle: fine breads deserve to be at the center of the dining experience, not a mere afterthought. At their Hyannis bakery, the timeless art of bread making is both revered and respected. Everyday salt, flour and filtered water are combined – like the bakers themselves – with a distinctly European flavor.

Welcome to the 908 Bistro, a chef-owned restaurant in Yarmouth, MA, dedicated to creating unforgettable dining experiences that blend fine dining sophistication with the comfort of a neighborhood eatery. Operated by the wife and husband team, Versel and Lindsay Johnson, also residents of Yarmouth, MA, they have spent their entire working lives in the restaurant industry. In 2022, they finally got the chance to open their own restaurant in Yarmouth. Thanks to all their experience, the restaurant quickly became a hit, winning the Best New Restaurant on Cape Cod award from the Cape Cod Choice Awards in 2023. In 2010, Jason met Ali; his partner in love, life and pizza. Ali shared Jason’s passion for food and travel and set off starting Pizza Barbone’s traveling pizza oven catering business together right from the start. After finding much success with their mobile pizza oven, together Jason & Ali opened the Pizza Barbone restaurant on Main St. Hyannis, MA in 2012 where they have since enjoyed talking with as many of theirs guests as they can and looking forward to all of the years of Neapolitan pizzas they will be bringing to the visitors, residents and customers of Pizza Barbone with their awesome staff!
