There was no mention of a fixed price menu when I made the reservation on OpenTable several weeks ago, but the waitress informed us that this restaurant has a fixed price menu for all holidays (including Mother's Day). A couple seated behind us left the restaurant after they saw the fixed price menu. They let us order ala carte off the fixed price menu, so options were limited and my father was not able to order the pasta dish he had been eyeing on the regular menu. The fish of the day (salmon) was delicious, as was the Chicken Florentine. The salmon dish was a small portion, and my boyfriend ended up needing an after dinner snack. The portion size for the Chicken Florentine was more than a full meal. The Cacio e Pepe dish was tasty, but would have been better with a side of vegetables. As it was served, it was lot like a fancy plate of macaroni and cheese. We may have gotten an old serving, but the bread pudding dessert was hard (needed a knife to cut it), and was a big disappointment. The lemon chiffon cake was wonderful, not too sweet and full of light lemon favor. The service was great, and the staff very attentive with frequent refills of water and checking in on us.

We popped in here for dinner when our flight out of San Diego was delayed 3 hours. It was the most pleasant my-flight-was-delayed experience we could have ever asked for. We sat outside in their patio dining area, surrounded by greenery, and comforted by soft music. The staff was attentive and provided great recommendations. In an attempt to avoid having left overs, for two people we ordered two appetizers and one main. It was the perfect amount to allow room for dessert :) The wine selection was amazing, their house-made sangria was delightful (frutiy and lightly spiced!) and the food did not disappoint! We ordered the fried green tomatoes, the grilled artichokes, and the cicao e pepe (a cheezy truffle noodle dish with fresh hand-made pasta) as well as a chocloate lava cake. There was nothing we wouldn't recommend, or order again for ourselves.

We love Farmers Botega. It is a great restaurant in all normal respects. But where they shine for us is their ability to deal with my wife's unusual food allergies. Most places, if they can do anything at all, offer her 1 entre option and simply remove the offending ingredients, resulting in a bland meal. Not what we wanted for our anniversary dinner! Because they cook from scratch using natural ingredients, they offered her 4 or 5 entre options that they could adjust for her allergies. Like their meals for the rest of our party, my wife's entre was great!. They topped it off with a complementary desert for our anniversary. Wonderful! Thanks!

my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised about this restaurant. The food was wonderfully prepared and our server was great in recommendations. Overall a wonderful meal and experience,. We will be back.

Beautiful outdoor space in the back. Great service. Very accommodating and attentive. Variety on the brunch menu. Would return again, and recommend to others for outdoor brunch experience.

A quiet weeknight dinner with friends was absolutely made perfect by the service, ambience and food at Farmer’s Bottega. We all had fish. Two of us had the house special - salmon with lemon risotto and seasonal vegetables - and our other friend had branzino. We had charcuterie to start. Everyone’s meal was prepared perfectly. The fish was delicious, as was the risotto and veggies. We had no room for dessert or coffee, but we heard fellow diners raving about the coconut creme brûlée. The service was outstanding, we were given all the attention we needed from the staff. Our server was lovely and her recommendations were spot on. The ambience is cosy and comfortable. You feel like you are in a European bistro. I love this restaurant and recommend it for any meal. We typically visit for lunch or brunch, but it was an excellent option for dinner. You need to go.

Both the food and service were great for Sunday brunch. The noise level is a bit high but being seated on the patio helps. Would definitely recommend .

The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. I appreciate that the chef is always willing to modify the menu to accommodate vegetarians. The hostess (can't recall her name, but she's from Seattle) is an absolute delight and a welcoming face to the restaurant. It has become our go-to favorite for weekend breakfast and brunch!

Sadly, they've made some menu changes (I assume for cost reasons) and the food yesterday was just OK. They eliminated the delicious flatbreads and frittatas. The 3 of us got the portabella sandwich and it was blah - thin piece that was coated with bread crumbs. the sourdough bread was pretty much all I could taste. Such a shame but I don't want to go back.

From start to finish, our experience was fantastic! Our server Roberto was warm and inviting, and very knowledgeable about the menu. My friend and I were catching up and he was aware and paced the timing of the meal perfectly! The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is comfortable, and not too noisy even when busy. A excellent special dinner out!!

absolutely loved my experience here! the food was amazing!! i got the gnocchi duck with tomato sauce and it was brilliant. my drink was great too, “bees knees”. my boyfriend got the caccio e peppe and he enjoyed it too. we split the kale salad which we enjoyed as well. overall 10/10 and we’ll definitely be back for brunch at some point so we can experience that!

Excellent service and very good food! Thoughtful wait staff. We were there for my husbands birthday and they brought him a slice of limioncello cake. Also had good recommendations.

Loved Farmer’s Bottega, we were there for Sunday brunch, we were seated very quickly, order was taken right away, food and drinks don’t take much to arrive, very good portions, everything tasted great, service is impeccable, definitely coming back!!!

I came for brunch on a Sunday. Nothing really impressive about the menu. I finally decided on the Prosciutto Benedict as it sounded interesting. What arrived was poached eggs on an arugula salad. The lack of a bread base made the entire dish very disappointing. I basically got an olive oil dressed plain arugula salad with an egg on it. As for the accompanying house potatoes, they were crispy but the rosemary was overwhelming. A plain salt and pepper potato would have been better.

The restaurant is cute and cozy, however service is lacking. We waited over 30 minutes for an appetizer that didn’t need to be cooked, and over an hour entrees.

Cute spot, small but roomy. Some special food items, flavors good, food was hot. Our server was busy but keep checking in on us. Prices were fair for the portions. I’d go back again.

We enjoyed a quiet Sunday dinner here. For appetizers we shared the roasted artichokes, crab cakes, and the clams & mussels. All were delicious beautifully presented. For entrees we had and the dock gnocchi and the osso bucco. You could tell that both were slow cooked by the deep, rich flavors. We'll definitely go back.

Wanted a quick meal and was interested in buying pizza by the slice. The pizza is the best, the crust is thin and a little crispy. Also had one of their stuffed "knobs" very special.
