Le Fang est le restaurant partenaire du restaurant très populaire House of Nanking. Il sert une cuisine chinoise à la fois moderne et authentique dans un cadre raffiné, avec des spécialités traditionnelles, des dimsums ainsi que des plats « hors menu » innovants pour les plus aventureux. Le chef Peter Fang estime que la bonne nourriture est universelle et ne doit pas être limitée par la façon dont on cuisinait les plats autrefois. The main dining room can accommodate up 80 seated guests, has standing room of 100, a full bar, and a full open kitchen.The second dining room has a full open kitchen and two semi-private rooms, which seat 110 guests. The glass room can accommodate up to 14 seated guests and is a semi-private room. The Tibetan back room can accommodate up to 22 seated guests and is a semi-private room. The entire restaurant, both main and second dining room combined, seats up to 200 guests.

The food at Fang continues to be as tasty as it was when the upscale sibling of House of Nanking first opened, but the vibe in the restaurant never returned to it's pre-pandemic levels. It's feeling tired and unenergetic. What used to be a fun night out feels more like a cramped neighborhood restaurant — with boxes and supplies piled everywhere. Yes, there are pre-mixed cocktails available. But there is no bartender to make any sort of preferred drink.

Was really expecting a lot more from this restaurant. Firstly, the reservation I made was not acknowledged. Even though we were seated promptly (restaurant was half empty), the host didn’t seem to care when I told him we had reservations. The descriptions of the food I read wasn’t reflected the food we ate. The food generally was very oily. The Chau Chau chicken didn’t have much flavor and the chicken was really dry. The sweet potato in sesame chicken wasn’t complicated cooked through - it was a little hard. The best thing we had was the pork belly and duck buns. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. And probably won’t be back.

Amazing experience. 7 of us, with reservations, sat us right away. Gave us amazing service. The food never fails us. Delicious every-time. The owner chooses our dishes and it’s always bomb! Must try!

Best Chinese food that Ive had. I saw a bunch of pics of the owner/chef with famous folks + an excellent review from Marc Benioff while wait for our table. We were sat & to my surprise, the owner/chef (that was in all of those pics) came out greeted us & took the menus away from us as if they were not needed & he could read our palates. He asked if we had any food allergies. From there they brought a plate of everything and everything was off the hook! Hands down best!

Fun atmosphere Great meal. Dun and tasty flavor combinations. It was busy so courses came out as cooked and available - too many at once. The menu innovation and flavors are terrific. Had their soup, short ribs, duck, and Fried rice prepared table-side. A must go if you are near the Moscone.

What an experience! We did not know what we were walking into when we entered Fang. The place was BUSY! Stressed-out servers were running around everywhere and we began to doubt our choice of restaurant. Chef Fang motioned us to a large table and calmly introduced himself. He said he would create a special menu for us. A mystery dish came out one by one and it was incredible! Everything was delicious, creative, and exciting! In all, we had 11 entrees, and the final "fried rice" presentation (I'll keep that as a surprise) was amazing! This place is a GEM! An experience like nothing I have ever had! This is as unique and delicious as it gets. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

We went to Fang for a business dinner and asked the chef to bring us what he wanted. Dish after dish after dish of the most amazing food I've had in a long time, every one with unique flavors and different proteins. The bill was surprisingly low for the value, service and quantity of food. HIGHLY recommend!!

We started out with shrimp wontons and couldn't believe how delicious it was! We decided to eat "family style", which is easy here due to the generous proportions, and ate: charred broccili, fried rice (prepared table side), and spare ribs. Every single bite our eyes popped opened in amazement and a constant "mmm!" could be heard while eating as our conversation slowed to fully enjoy the food. Due to the peaceful room, although large, we were able to enjoy our conversation, atmosphere, and we both claimed this was easily in the top 3 best meals we'd ever had before. Fang is a MUST!!

Very good food, quick service. Peter came in & was so friendly & accommodated our request for pictures. Love this place & will definitely be back, but not before visiting House of Nanking! That is our next stop in the next 2 weeks. best Chinese food I have ever had!

Excellent Chinese food. I ate way too much! I would definitely recommend the chicken and green beans dish and go lighter on the eon tons. The soup is excellent. As was the service.

Neutral food offerings, odd but okay. Service was very disappointing, no interaction and staff was annoyed with questions. No niceties and pretty much felt like they didn’t want us there. We will not return.

Good for bringing business guests and expensing large meals. The restaurant does basically “omakase” but for Chinese food while taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or special requests. I think we had a total of 10 dishes for 9 guests, always nice to be seated at a round table to talk to everyone very clearly too.

The woman taking our order is extremely rude and impatient, tried to upsell on a “set menu” by taking away our menu after we said it’s our first time. We refused and wanted to order a la carte, and she became extremely rude.

Fang is always on point. The food is always incredible. And if/when Peter or Cathy are there, just let them know of any dietary restrictions and let them do the rest. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful lunch with friends. The owner ordered for us, so we had delicious spareribs, chicken in steamed dough, shrimp skewers, clam soup, short rib cubes, and countless other goodies.

Love Fang. It is best to work with Peter Fang - share food desires/requirements with him, and let the kitchen bring out the best selections for a special evening of dining. It is my preferred way to experience Fang. The food is exceptional, and they are skilled at working with groups. It is truly a treasure, with a great location and plenty of parking around Moscone Center.

The menu is strange. Mostly fried chicken dishes. We ordered salt and pepper prawns. Not a speck of pepper visible. We ordered chicken with chili sauce and long beans and asked that it not be too hot. What we got was chicken and broccoli in a white sauce, which turned out to be mayonnaise and mustard seeds. The person who served it to us said it was chef’s secret sauce. She didn’t know. The original server thought he was being helpful. My husband liked beef and there was one beef offering. We were disappointed in the selection, the execution, and the experience.

The owner greeted us and insisted he order for us. He brought out food we didn’t want or like, such as soy braised hard boiled eggs, short rib cubes, sweet fried chicken, raw bok choy, etc. The water for hot tea was tepid as if from a tap, definitely not boiled. I paid $300 for a meal I wanted to spend $150 on. Food is swathed in sweet sauce and all of it is fried. I was not impressed by any dish and will not return. Overall the experience was underwhelming.

I had seen the show House of Fing on TV and knew that Peter Fang was quite a character. I was looking forward to meeting him and co-owner and daughter Kathy. When he found out it was our first time at the restaurant. He asked us a few simple questions and told us he would order for us, each course was delicious and satisfied all five guest. It was quite an experience having someone else order and explain what the entrées were. It was worth every penny I would go back. It was a great experience!

This was our first visit to Fang. We were a party of 4 seated at a table for 8. We asked for a different table as plenty were available. Request denied. We are an elderly group and somewhat hard of hearing - so making conversation across such a large table was difficult. The host at the door seated us and he was friendly enough. The service experience once seated was rather dreadful, even bizarre. A white-haired man wearing a mask came to our table several times - offering to create a meal for the table. He was difficult to understand but persistent and pesky. I don't know who our actual server was - as we just flagged down someone who was rushing by when we wanted to order or make a request. None of them were friendly or helpful. No one smiled. We felt like an imposition. The food was average at best.

I do not come here if you are diabetic. Every dish that the owner chose for us was sweet, chicken in a sticky sweet sesame sauce, beef with a sweet sauce even the broccoli had a sweet sauce drizzled over it…. If you like sweet and savory then it might be for you as the food was nicely cooked and service was good.

Since we watched the food network which featured Fang, my husband and I couldn’t wait to visit this restaurant. We were both pleased with our trip to Fang. There were so many delicious dishes and we couldn’t decide. Peter Fang made some recommendations. Every bite was scrumptious. We can’t wait to return.

Pete Fang brought us to our table and told us he would bring out the dishes. They all were amazing. If you are in San Fran it’s a must stop! Great service and awesome experience

Excellent food as usual. However service was terrible - rushed, not at all attentive and actually somewhat rude.

We ordered the dumplings with eggplant which is a must have, the black sesame noodles, a few types of baos and the beef with Bok Choi. Everything was delicious. Not your typical Chinese cuisine but a creative twist to it. Service was prompt and the environment was warm.

老闆跟員工服務都很親切，菜色也好吃重點是價格也不貴，CP值頗高，如果來舊金山想吃中餐的話，是一個好的選擇，推薦給大家

Have to acknowledge that the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Wait times for drinks and to take our order took way too long. No one came to refill our empty water or tea kettle. Food was good, some was great. We had made reservations for an office bday lunch. None of that was acknowledged either.

The main dining room can accommodate up 80 seated guests, has standing room of 100, a full bar, and a full open kitchen.The second dining room has a full open kitchen and two semi-private rooms, which seat 110 guests. The glass room can accommodate up to 14 seated guests and is a semi-private room. The Tibetan back room can accommodate up to 22 seated guests and is a semi-private room. The entire restaurant, both main and second dining room combined, seats up to 200 guests.
