Our lunch was very good. The food was tasty and well cooked. Not a huge choice but enough that we all had something we wanted to eat. The service was excellent. Struan, who looked after us, was efficient and friendly and put us all at our ease. We will be back.

Had dinner here, the last 3 nights, and every meal has been marvellous.complemented by the highly efficient and pleasant restaurant staff . An overall 5 star experience

Steak and Chips was literally that, no mushrooms, onion rings or salad. Looked like it had been cooked on a George Foreman . Ordered medium but struggled to cut it with a steak knife. 2 burgers had to be sent back as they were still red inside. Desserts were ok. Not the standard of food you would expect for a £200 a night hotel.

Elliot's was a great restaurant. The service was superior and the food was great. I did not understand why there were not more people there. Their loss I guess.

Food was great as was the value and the waitress (who’s name I sadly didn’t ask for) was great highly recommend specially with the price of the food

Food is good but expect a very long wait over 30 mins for our drink & over an hour for food & wasn’t busy , about 2 other tables maybe! we had to chase them to serve us our order as we were going to the theatre at 2.30 table was booked for 12.30 . A table of 2 people came in after us & they were served before us we questioned this & were told it was because there was only 2 of them !!! There’s was only 4 of us , 1 of our party was gluten free which they acknowledged on check in but there was nothing highlighted on the menu indicating what they could make that was gluten free , we felt before they rushed away perhaps a few mins to explain what she could have would have been better, once mains came the food was good enough we had told them not to hold back making the dessert for us as we now were short of time , the servers then approached us mid way through eating our mains asking if we wanted the sweet brought out now too 🤣🤣, we declined & said please can you wait until we have at least finished eating . When desserts came 2 of us had churros one was coated in sugar & they had just completely forgot to cover the others . When we got the bill they had added a service charge automatically on, it does state this on the menu, we asked to remove it All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have plenty time to spare rather than the 2 hours we had which we thought was plenty

Set menue not much choice for meat eaters Cullen skink the deconstructed dish was tasty but could have been hotter Fish and chips batter to thick and plate to small or chips could have been served separately fish on top of large pile of chips difficult to cut up fish.sticy toffe pudding well presented but divided caused it to be dry on outside good flavour.the steak was well cooked rare as requested. The waitresses were extremely helpful and friendly

Menu could be more extensive for main courses. Seems a bit steep to charge 12.5% for service charge - most places charge 10%!
