Eleven B. a rustic, family-run Italian restaurant in the heart of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The lasagna was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and it is a BYOB with no corkage fee, so that was a nice touch as well.

I went to Eleven B for lunch on a weekday. It was pretty quiet - as it's more of an evening spot. But they treated me extremely well. The pizza was out of this world and I also enjoyed a nice salad and piece of chocolate cake. Great neighborhood spot and ideal for groups.

Everything was great except for the 21 year old filled table next to us that decided to waterfall drink the rest of their wine bottles in 10 minutes causing one guy to collapse into our table. I am all for a good time, but this shouldn't be a college drinking dorm environment too. Usually always have a great time.

Yes, my neighborhood go-to and the owner is great. Helps clean and serve and is very personable. They always honor reservations. The only con is that it gets loud when it is crowded, but usually more so when there are large groups.

Basically ignored by the server despite almost no one in the restaurant. Pizza was average at best and way expensive. I would not go back.

We found this place quite by accident. We were on a bus trip to New York. We’re looking for a restaurant near to where we going. Found this place on open table made a reservation. When we arrived we were surprised by its size but the wait staff and service was excellent. Ordered some fantastic Italian food. It was some of the best we have eaten. When we get to New York again plan to go back.

a home style neighborhood place that has lots of menu options. our meals were excellent: baked ziti and lasagna. not so crowded, so conversation easy. atmosphere warm and relaxed. attentive service. would recommend.

I would have been very happy with my food if it has been 10 dollars, but for almost 20 dollars it wasn't worth it. The ambiance is great but the food, sadly, is mediocre.

We were one of three total tables eating there but the food still took an hour to come out. The server forgot our drinks more than once. The food was decent, nothing outstanding. Loved the ambiance and atmosphere! Had a very relaxed open vibe.

The food was good, but the service has been better. It was busy, and there only seemed to be one server waiting on all tables. The food took much longer than expected, and we had trouble actually getting to talk to the server -- we would've ordered more wine, or potentially desserts, if only he came to our table.

The food portion for the spinach ravioli and ziti and broccoli were quite small. Did not care for the “white sauce”. There was no cream. It was just chicken broth. We did like the arugula salad and the chicken sorentino. Will not be returning

We arrived on-time for our Sunday evening reservation and then waited over an hour for our food. When we asked the owner of the restaurant (who was checking on tables) whether we could expect to be served soon, he said they were overwhelmed with a party of 10 at a large table in the center of the restaurant. There were only 2 other tables of diners in the restaurant. Our food then came out one entrée at a time so that we all began eating dinner at different times. The food was mediocre at best. Given that it was nearly 10pm and we had arrived at 7:30, we ate and left.

Very unpleasant. We were the only ones in there for lunch at 1PM and the service was not good. The worst thing was that when we questioned the bill ($56 for a pizza, a coke, 2 salads and one burger) the server (owner) got furious and started yelling at us. I was shocked and saddened by this. The fellow must have some problems to treat customers like this.

Took my sister and her kids their for her birthday. As usual, the food was great and we were treated like family. Vinnie and his staff are simply the greatest! Check out Guac, his other restaurant.

This may have been a 4 rating eons ago because now it's a -4. Skip this place. Save your money and eat at home--I recommend a jar of Rao's sauce, which is a definite 5.
