Die Räume unseres Restaurants in Neukölln erzählen Geschichte. Denn im Hinterhof der Elbestraße befand sich um die Jahrhundertwende eine Destillerie. Die Firma "Reichel Essenzen" war hier beheimatet. Eine Halle aus der Jahrhundertwende, die 70 Jahre für die Destillierung von Essenzen zur Herstellung von Likören diente und danach eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Nutzung erlebt hatte, ist nun der Ort, in dem das Restaurant eins44 seinen Platz gefunden hat.
"Fine Dining" ohne prätentiös zu sein, so sehen wir unsere Art zu kochen. Unsere Speisekarte lässt sich saisonal inspirieren und wechselt daher monatlich. Dabei greifen wir auf regionale und überregionale Produkte zurück.

Unsere Weinkarte umfasst im Moment Weine Deutschland, Frankreich und Österreich. Hierbei sind jedoch sowohl die "Großen", als auch die jungen aufstrebenden Winzer in vollem Umfang vorhanden. Ein besonderer Focus liegt hierbei auf unserer Leidenschaft, dem Riesling.

Great ambience and space. The insider of the restaurant was beautiful. Food and the combination of flavors were delicious. Small portions, but if you order multiples and just share family style then the value is still worth it.

Unfassbar kreative, sehr gut ausbalancierte Küche. Aufmerksamer Service, tolle Beratung. Der fine dining Test am Kaffee hat auch mit 1+ bestanden. Ein bei richtiger Temperatur, 15 Bar gezogener Espresso, so wie man sich darüber freuen kann. (Meist sind sie verbrannt…) Wirkliche Überraschungen auf dem Teller. Ein Fest und 100% zu empfehlen.

Having dined here before under the previous chef, I must confess that I was much more impressed the first time I dined. This time the dishes were not impressively plated, the flavors were often muddled, some dishes were overcooked…and I found the wine pairings to lack inspiration. It was overall a disappointing experience, and sadly, I cannot see returning unless there are some major changes.

Wir waren sehr angetan vom Ambiente und der Atmosphäre der Wertschätzung der Geschichte der Essigfabrik, die dennoch Behaglichkeit vermittelt. Diese Wertschätzung setzt sich fort in der Professionalität der Speisenzubereitung, in den gustatorischen Höhepunkten und des äußerst angenehmen Services.

Very bad experience! First of all, I would say that this place is completely overrated. Prices are equivalent of a Michelin 1 star restaurant and neither the service nor the ambiance are worth your money. It’s definitely pricey (eur 250 for 2 without dessert) , service was just ok and noise was awful there is echo with the very high industrial era ceilings so not exactly gemütlich nor friendly. Worse than that, the area is very secluded and the place is hard to find for taxis and Uber. A so-called high end restaurant is not worth such location. Even on some corners, security is questionable. Weird people stand on the street and a woman alone feels unsafe. Don’t recommend ever. Last point: all wine glasses are of 10cl (i.e. nothing whereas the standard is 12cl) but the price is eur 12 eur on average. And wines are just ok for some. In conclusion : overrated and to be avoided if you don’t want to feel fleeced afterwards.

First off I found the restaurant incredibly hard to find! It is nestled in a courtyard and well off the main street. The place itself is very well done - old industrial feel. Really nice ambience. Waiting staff was good too - polite and attentive without going overboard. I found the food good but not exceptional and certainly not for the price. I enjoyed my visit but I don’t think I’d go back.

Sehr sympathischer aufmerksamer Service, sehr passende Getränkeempfehlungen, ausgezeichnetes Essen, insbesondere die Zubereitung der Jakobsmuschel und der Eclair- Nachtisch hervorragend. Supercooles Ambiente. Unser erster Besuch, bestimmt nicht der letzte!

Hervorragende, jahreszeitliche Regionalküche. Sehr gut ausgesuchte Karte exzellenter Weine. Angenehme Atmosphäre mit dem richtigen Licht und dem richtigen Abstand zu den Nachbartischen. Vor allem aber ein aufmerksamer Service, kenntnisreich, auf aufdringlich, großzügig und persönlich zugewandt.

The food was very good and the presentation was well done. The service was sub-par for this level of restaurant. My table had to ask for menus, to put our order in once we received menus, and the food took a very very long time to arrive.

Visited for a special occasion and had a genuinely spectacular meal, every course was superb and beautifully presented. Service was impeccable and it's a gorgeous location, cannot recommend highly enough.

Lekker en creatief eten. Was een beetje jammer dat we met een klein gezelschap van 4 naast een grote groep kwamen te zitten. In overleg konden we wel ruilen voor een rustigere plek.

Great food, wine was excellent. Coming from Napa, very wonderful European flavors. Only complaint is the place is poorly marked and difficult to fine the in middle of the industrial area. Better directions should be a must. Would go again now that I know where it is.

wonderful ambience and food, our party of 4 ordered 2 5-course set menus, one with wine pairing, and more dishes a la carte. Everything was pleasant and flavourful, the schnapps at the end was a fun experience, and the caneles tied everything off wonderfully.
