Outstanding food and service. A shame a restaurant with these qualities and price point doesn’t enforce the minimal dress code they declare. They are sadly not alone.

The service and plating has diminished. Eddy Vs used to be known for excellent, professional waiters with attention to detail, impeccable timing and food plating that not only attracted the eye but the palet. Over familiar waiter’s who waste time at table’s only to miss proactive silverware changes, forget to propose a wine with the main course, are tardy to deliver a châle and force a hand shake or fist bump diminish the value proposition of this once renowned Austin landmark. Management is clearly absent from the floor with zero oversight of how the waiters are managing their sections.

Excellent as always! Yes the steaks are perfect but the seafood is even better. Outstanding service as well.

Mother’s Day reservation for 2. Food was excellent. Service was good but not particularly attentive. Overall the usual great dining experience we’ve come to expect from Eddie V’s.

Great food and service. Our Server Adrain was absolutely fantastic! He explained the menu to us and we were very happy with what we picked out. Only thing that I would highly recommend is looking into the unpleasant smell when you walk in. Great staff and very awesome food overall

We had a great date night. Our server, Danielle, was so nice and made awesome suggestions for our meal. The sommelier suggested a different wine than we had picked out, since I was having fish and my husband ordered steak, and it ended up being from the town my husband was born in and that we met in. What a special night! Great food, great wine, exceptional service, thanks!

LOVE this place. It’s great for a special occasion, or not! You can’t find tuna anywhere that’s this excellent. The recent halibut special was out of this world. Great waitstaff. Love the salads and desert. We just won’t go anywhere else for high-end seafood.

Everything was amazing. I took my daughter there for a daddy daughter date. And the server was absolutely fantastic to her and treating her with an impressive level of attention making her feel very special. (Oh, yeah, and the food was amazing too !)

We love coming to Eddie V's for special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We are never disappointed. The service and food are impeccable. Last night was no different. Gabriel took great care of us, and offered some great recommendations. I recommend Eddie V's to anyone looking to splurge a little or just be treated like royalty!

The food was good and service was excellent. Tyresa, our waitress, was very attentive. She exhibited great touch when she honored my sister’s retirement with a medley of desserts. We typically eat the crab fried rice, scallops and crab cake, but this time had the stuffed shrimp, which we thought was not as great as the crab cake.

This is our favorite seafood/steakhouse restaurant. We always visit the one in Dallas or Fort Worth when at home but while in Austin for the weekend we had to visit the one at Arboretum. Same quality service, delicious entrees and drinks were amazing as always. You have customers for life.

We love eating at Eddie Vs and are never disappointed. We usually sit in bat and the waitress that serves us in a regular basis is outstanding. The sea bass is AMAZING! Thank you.

Took forever to get the entrees, most likely they forgot about them. I ordered the lamb chops, they were completely garlic soaked and I am garlic fan.

Enjoyed wonderful food and great conversation. I don't believe there is a finer group of staff than those employed by Eddie V's. Hands down, always exceptional service. The food was fresh and the service was outstanding.

Most of the time everything is fabulous! Last night the service was a little slow! Maybe our gal was new or just overwhelmed, of course we will go back because we love eddys Vs. just being honest!

The sever at our table was wonderful and the food was delicious. When we first arrived, the bartender seemed a little upset that we were just sitting at the bar to have a drink while we waited on our table and kind of rushed us to check out so that we wouldn’t be taking a Bar space, but other than that it was a great night.
