Just ok. Steak over cooked, shrimp blah to average. Portion was small. Service was rushed and sloppy.

We knew Dos Caminos would be noisier than we like, but we love their food and service, and our guests like the "energy!" We did ask for a relatively quiet table, and to our delight, were given one in a back corner of the back room, which was definitely quieter than the main room(s). The food is great, and the staff were warm and kind and attentive. We liked the spacious table that permitted all our orders to fit without crowding. Looking forward to next visit.

We live around the corner and come here all the time. Food always excellent and it’s definitely authentic, and it’s not a tourist trap.

We chose Dos Caminos because it was Cinco de Mayo and wanted to celebrate. But unfortunately a potentially enjoyable evening was completely ruined by completely over the top and loud music. We unfortunately didn’t book to go to a nightclub we were looking for a lively atmosphere but being able to converse over dinner. Unfortunately the music was so loud we gave up speaking and couldn’t wait to leave. It was so loud it was uncomfortable. When we asked our server if it could be turned down, they said that they had asked for it to be turned down a number of times and they had been told it wasn’t possible. Whoever was making that decision was showing complete disrespect to their customers but also their staff it must have been awful for them. The food was lovely but unfortunately unable to enjoy it because of the environment.

Title: Mixed Experience at Dos Caminos on Cinco de Mayo I recently visited Dos Caminos, a Mexican restaurant located in Times Square, on Cinco de Mayo. While the service was outstanding, I left with mixed feelings about the overall experience. Upon entering the restaurant, I was disappointed by the high noise level, making it difficult to hold a conversation. Despite it being Cinco de Mayo, there was no indication or celebration of the holiday, which was one of the reasons for choosing this venue. Additionally, the absence of Mexican music further detracted from the festive atmosphere I had hoped for. On a positive note, the guacamole and nachos were delicious, living up to the restaurant's reputation. However, the entrees fell short of expectations, with some being just average in taste and presentation. While I've enjoyed Dos Caminos in the past, this visit left me feeling that the Times Square location caters more to tourists than locals. Despite the disappointing aspects of this visit, the outstanding service ensures that I'll consider giving Dos Caminos another chance in the future.

This place was really fun. The music was nice ,mostly pop, it was Cinco de Mayo so I don’t know how it normally is but that day was really nice. The drinks were strong, which was good and the food was delicious. we were downstairs and it was really cozy themed.

Went on Cinco De Mayo. Food is inauthentic and overpriced (somewhat to be expected in Times Square). DJ was playing boy band tunes from the early 2000s while the staff let two drunk 20-somethings run up and down the aisles singing and flailing and doing what I assume were social media posts as everyone else tried to eat a meal. Terrible experience.

Everything was excellent from the service to the food to the ambience. I was truly surprised by their take on their cerveche. It was served as a shashimi with seaweed underneath. It was very innovative and was mucho deliciousio. I’ll order it again. Overall experience was Muy Fantástico.

Great Food, cocktails delicious. Waitstaff always there when you needed anything. The only drawback was the music was loud, hard to have a conversation at the table. Would definitely go there again.

Went for brunch prior to a Brodway show, we were seated downstairs, which was much nicer than the upstairs seating. The service was great, the margaritas were excellent, and the food was great. Try the Dos Caminos rancheros, I have had them in many places they were great. Friends tried the breakfast quesadillas, nice sized portions, also great. Definitely worth going back to.

Generally the food is good though unspectacular. It was odd that they served pancakes on Sunday until 11:30a on the breakfast menu and not on the brunch menu. A mocktail was $16 for about 8oz of juice. Otherwise it’s a fine place.

This review is mainly for our waiter, Finn. He was very friendly and did not rush us at all, which is not the norm at a restaurant like this and especially not in this location.

My fish tacos were stingy and raw. Ruined my appetite. Thank goodness I had the cornbread prior as it was amazing. They did remove the tacos off my bill.

Food was better than I expected! They had a silly seating policy regarding breakfast and brunch that caused an unnecessary bottleneck in getting everyone seated. Once seated everything was great!
