This was a terrible experience. Basic drinks took 30 minutes to come. The food order was completely wrong and the food all came cold. Only one plate could be salvaged.

I went to Dos Caminos with a group of 5 yesterday and it was a so-so experience at best. The food was bland (guac had no flavor) and the sangria was probably the worst I’ve ever had and tasted watered down with no fruit in it. The food was also paced out awkwardly with our appetizers arriving at the same time as our entrees (with the exception of one persons entree which didn’t come out until like 20 minutes after the rest of ours.) Our waiter was nice and meant well but we weren’t checked on enough, which I think is really a symptom of the place being ran poorly rather than faults of his own. Would not go back :/.

Always a go-to for my family when we come into the city. Usually, we go to Meatpacking but have been to all locations at this point. Went to SoHo yesterday for brunch before we headed back to RI. I always order Chilaquiles. This time, they were good, but more frito pie consistency than egg and sauce. So next time, I may go for the huevos rancheros. My daughter had the same as me and my husband had the breakfast burrito. The free margarita with brunch is always a hit too.I love that we’ve managed to find some great standbys when we visit the city. We make our reservations through Open Table and never have to worry about waiting in lines or where to go!

Dos Caminos used to be a New York institution, but now it’s washed up beyond repair. Everything about it is tired and dull. Extremely snooty maitre d, who couldn’t even be bothered to do her job (we later received an email from opentable asking us why we were no-shows…she apparently never bothered to check us in). Waitress was bright and friendly but several misses on the food, and drink didn’t show up until halfway into our meal because the bar tender was backed up. Took forever to pay, a couple of waitresses studiedly refused to make eye contact when walking by as i tried to flag that we were ready to pay. The one saving grace was the lovely server refilling water, he was a hospitable gem. Food is alright. Overall, think the culture has run to seed…this could be so much better if the whole lot of them took some pride in their work.

Food, service, cocktails, all first rate. Tuna ceviche excellent, highly recommended; also chili rellenos and fish tacos. Only criticism was that the table was not fully bused when we sat down, so one (used) water glass had water sitting on the bottom which the waiter was getting prepared to pour more water into. Not cool.

Food was just plain mediocre. Server was very much mediocre. This place has potential - the ambiance and decor is superb and the drinks are delicious. Dos Caminos SoHo either needs new management or an Executive Chef and culinary team. I really wanted to like this place.

Overall I have to say Dos Caminos was a good experience. Our main courses were great (we both ordered chimichangas) and the churros for dessert were delicious. The chicken taquitos for the appetizer were inconsistently heated (the centers were cool while the ends were warm). Even so they still tasted good. I do think the portions were a touch small for the price, but even that was fine. The main issue I had was with the service. Our waiter took a fairly long time to initially make contact, and then was slow to return with our alcoholic drinks (another table seated after got theirs first). Overall a good experience, but some room for improvement.

Great Mexican food. Had the combo taco's between 3 of us and with an order of guacamole, and Mexican corn it was quite filling. Good margaritas as well. Our waiter was very attentive and helped explain the menu options. Overall a great meal.

We had a great dinner at Dos Caminos, this was our first time there and the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and comfortable. Our server gave us great menu suggestions and was very attentive. The menu and and quality of the food was very good. They also have a very nice selections of drinks.

This is a great Mexican restaurant in the heart of Soho. The chips came with 3 awesome sauces along with the Guac we ordered. Definitely will go back when we want a good Margarita and Mexican food. Christiana was our server and we will ask for her again when we are back.

Great selection of tequilas and mezcals and cocktail menu. Wide variety of terrific food options in a low key and relaxed setting. Except for the runner delivering the wrong food orders to our table—an error which was quickly corrected—the service was excellent.

One of my worst dining experiences ever. A party of 50 16-18 year olds swarmed in and we couldn’t hear a thing. We had already been moved once. The offer of desert was nice but the last thing we wanted to do was stay there. They should have comped the entire meal in my opinion because they failed to even tell us what was coming. That being said the hostess, waiter and other staff were lovely.
