                        Loved the family style service. I think the menu needs a little explaining but it was all good. You have to be ready to eat what they have on the menu - and it's not really for kids but we truly enjoyed our dinner.

                        Yesterday, we stepped into a realm of culinary delight at "Davenport’s" from the moment we were greeted to the impeccable service. We knew we were in for something special. The menu showcased Kevin Gibson’s mastery in crafting dishes that transcend the ordinary. Each plate was a work of art, beautifully presented in a symphony of flavors & textures. We began with one of the many selections of wine accompanied by a delightful spread of baguette and olive oil, pork pate with hazelnuts, dried cherry, frisée, pickles, and mustard, as well as a heavenly assortment of cheeses from around the world. Our journey continued with the exquisite Columbia River King Salmon Carpaccio, followed by succulent seared scallops with fennel and citrus, and the unforgettable French "coq au vin jaune", featuring the most tender braised chicken we've ever tasted. The tortellini in brodo bursted with layers of flavor and the asparagus served with hard bodied egg & bottarga were a true culinary delight. Every dish was a testament to Kevin’s dedication to excellence. We were in for an unforgettable dining experience and we eagerly anticipate our next visit to "Davenport's".

                        Another lovely experience. Our second this month. We treated two friends to dinner to celebrate their marriage and they loved it too.

                        Have been there multiple times; returned on a lively Saturday evening, and it was a little louder than I recall or perhaps than is usual. Always a treat!
