Darya is a Persian Restaurant with a Mediterranean menu. The food and serve are very good and the atmosphere is nice. They have a small patio with a waterfall at the far end. Can be a bit pricey depending on what one orders.

Every dish we ordered was delicious and service was outstanding. I would love to see more vegetable options included that don’t contain peppers as they can be a tough food item for a lot of people. The acoustics in the room are a bit noisy when live music is played so it makes conversation a bit challenging. Highly recommend Darya as it is a very worthwhile experience.

Darya's food and service has been consistently excellent for the twenty-five years I have been visiting this restaurant. After moving away and a gap of nearly five years between visits, I was happy to find the same friendly and attentive wait staff serving the same high quality Persian fare I remembered. Well flavored and cooked to perfection this restaurant will not disappoint.

I’m used to Persian food but it was my first time taking my dad to have Persian food in Orange County. After 38 years of immigrating to America he finally got to try and he loved it! We got almost everything on the menu because we were a party of 7 so we tried a little bit of it all. Our waiter recommended the eggplant appetizer which did NOT disappont. Staff was all attentive and friendly the ambiance was gorgeous. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area. ☺️

The restaurant is elegant and beautiful. The service was very good. My husband prefers the Darya restaurant in North Orange County over this location. I had the gormeh sabzi and it was delicious.

Good food, service, really great guitarist. We had the $56 3 type of skewers meal. Rice, chicken, lamb, filet mignon. It came with a soup or salad. Amazing. We split this and shared a hummus app. and ordered and extra plate of rice. Plenty of food for two. $80+ grat out the door!

We had our company luncheon here for Thanksgiving. Their service was amazing. All of our service staff were top-tier. The lunch special pricing is so great. The food itself was OK and it was so quiet in there, it was a little awkward. They had no background music or anything. overall for the lunch pricing I would recommend it

Darya is an all-around excellent restaurant with great food and phenomenal service. From the moment we walk in, the staff treats us with courtesy that is rarely seen in most restaurants, and the food is delicious with generous portions. I often recommend this place to anyone; if you love Persian food, you will want to come back repeatedly, but of you have never tried it before, then you will find something you love. The only bad thing is that they often run out of tadig (crispy rice), but there is always something else that is delicious

This was the fastest dinner we have every had! Not in a good way. I have never felt so rushed at a restaurant before. We have been coming to Darya for over a decade. Last night we got seated, then ordered a drink. He asked about appetizer and we put in that order. Well the appetizer came out within minutes.... way before our cocktails. Then, once we got drinks and were relaxing, nibbling on the appetizer, the server asked if we knew what we wanted for dinner and we told him. Next thing you know, like 5 minutes later it was coming out!! We hadn't even got half way through the appetizer. Just very poor planning -- food should never come out like that in a high-end restaurant. We felt so rushed, and had to eat quickly because it would get cold otherwise. We never even had time to order a second drink. PLEASE train your staff on how food should come out, as this was terrible.

we had an excellent evening here tonight. I have not been here for at least 15 years, tonight my love for this lovely restaurant is renewed. we were greeted warmly by the hostess, and had the most amazing servers who gave great recommendations and the most attentive service . we ordered borani and tadig as appetizers, a beef and lamb combo dinner, and a Persian rollard dessert. every item was delicious. my friend, who usually finds lamb too gamely and tough, ate all the lamb tonight because it was tender and did not have the usual strong taste. The dessert -- cake layers that are almost as thin as crepes layered with cream -- is nice even though I am normally not a cake person. we also love the elegant ambiance, the ease and abundance of parking. We will visit again and probably ask for our server tonight again!

Our food wasn’t great unfortunately but the service was good. Food was what we went there for but except for that everything was good. We were not going to express our disappointment but the manager asked us looking at how little we ate, we had to tell the truth and he offered to replace the dish and everything but we were not feeling it. They still charged us for the food we barely touched and sent back.

I had an incredible dining experience at Darya restaurant! The exceptional quality of food left me amazed. The cleanliness of the establishment was noteworthy, and the deliciousness of the dishes truly stood out. The reasonable prices added to the overall satisfaction. The peaceful ambiance, free from noise, allowed for a pleasant mealtime. The baghali polo with lamb shank and shish kabob were outstanding choices; the impeccably cooked meats practically melted in my mouth. A culinary delight that I can't wait to experience again! The restaurant has a peaceful ambiance. The servers are very polite and helpful. The food is amazing but the salad was a little blend. The overall experience was great.

Wonderful place with fantastic, caring people. Only drawback was the food lacked taste/spices/salt. I can only speak on behalf of the sultani and chicken barg meats in addition to the white rice. Persian ice cream and faloodeh was very tasty along with the bamieh. Will definitely come back

This was the first time eating at Darya and what a nice experience. Our waiter suggested an appetizer of Borani, an eggplant dip, which was excellent! I tried a Persian dish, Adas Polo, which was basmati rice with raisins, lentils, dates and chicken…delicious! Our evening was memorable and we will be back again.
