Wonderful luncheon overlooking the pond and watching a new mother duck attend to her 11 ducklings. Great food here as always. Highly recommend the clam chowder, cobb salad, and turkey sandwich.

Food was good, but expensive for the size of the plate. I would expect if I’m spending $50 on a roast turkey dinner, it would be of a larger size

Very expensive and food was truly not that great. We ordered 3 different things off the menu and the general overall opinion was it was not that good. The staff was super nice and place is nice. Just wished the food was better.

Very disappointed in the food and certainly not worth $25. Cheese blintzes we're not good and frozen. Baked goods were not homemade, no lunch type just all breakfast foods.

Had lunch at Daniel Webster Inn to celebrate a special birthday. Everything was what I wanted - good food, low noise level, beautiful gardens outside the windows.

Like going back in time to a classic gem when exceptional service, ambiance and quality food were important. Ten stars, I loved every second of our 92nd birthday lunch!

The pork cut had been brined and was absolutely tender and full of flavor. The crab cake appetizer was delicious. Nice selection of wines by the glass. We ate in the tavern, but the noise level was a bit high. Nice fire burned in the fire place. Our waiter had a nice sense of humor!

A visit to the historic Daniel Webster Inn is always a treat. The Inn is beautifully furnished and decorated. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, always ready to help and offer advice if needed. The dining venues are lively and the menu choices are varied and delicious. The waitstaff are very professional and friendly. Don’t miss a visit to the gift shop for unique items and a friendly chat with the staff.

We also stayed overnight. Everything was very clean, comfortable and just perfect. I would highly recommend it all the way around. The gift shop was fabulous and priced very reasonably.

My wife and I have eaten here many times in the past and have had exceptional experiences each time. But this past meal on Easter was disappointing. The meal arrived warm. The poor waitress had 22,000 steps by the time she got to us, but she was very polite and chipper, even though tired. My turkey was dry. I brought it home and still haven't eaten it. My wife and daughter got the lamb, again only warm. The lesson we learned is never go on a holiday. Just pick a random weekday and things will be delightful. That's our plan from now on. So we will be back.

We have never had a bad experience at the DWI and this was no exception. Easter Sunday, we had reservations in the tavern and were quickly seated. Our waitress, Alexis, was friendly, very competent and attentive. She checked in on us several times during our meal. The food is creative and always excellent and the deserts were great. We will continue to return often and highly recommend the DWI to others

Fun evening at a traditional New England bar. Highly recommend the Lob Lob and fish and chips. Both were well prepared and we enjoyed the evening. Fun atmosphere and the music that started at 7 was excellent. Would definitely go again

Absolutely beautiful! Quiet, cozy and charming. All of the staff were extremely pleasant. Food was delicious and very nicely presented. Large portions compared to other upscale restaurants. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend!

Daniel Webster is first-class. The chef offers creative dishes, and also offers some old fashioned comfort food... Chicken pot pie/ turkey and all the trimmings. The Inn is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and well-trained for impeccable service. There are choices of seating preference...the conservatory, tavern and bar are all great. I have dined and stayed at the Inn, also enjoyed the Spa, and the amazing gift shop. Try Daniel Webster, you'll love it.

We were there for brunch. Zero frill food. I had avocado toast (description says mashed avocado) I had 2 pieces of toast with sliced avocado on top, 4 home fries and 2 eggs. The homefries looked old and wrinkly. No frills. Not delicious, or fresh, but not terrible.

Dinner service was good and the food was tasty and as expected. We had an issue with a bartender there that was quite rude when we questioned if the correct drink was prepared for my wife. We only asked a question about how it was prepared and we were made to feel uncomfortable and awkward. We were NOT complaining about anything, but were made to feel like we were a couple of a-holes. It almost ruined out evening.

We enjoyed the early dining special which includes appetizer, entree and dessert for a great price. I started with the garden salad (which was huge) and my husband had the lobster chowder which he loves. Plenty of lobster in there! The extra charge of $4 is well worth it. There were several entree choices which made it a hard decision. We both had the lobster crusted cod which was delicious. Our friends had the salmon and chicken pot pie and seemed to love their dishes. The portion sizes were perfect - large enough to be satisfying, not so much that we had many leftovers. We shared the hot fudge sundae which was very yummy and brought home a piece of cheesecake. Our server Joanne was very pleasant, attentive but not pushy. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

Although the food was beautifully presented, it was just Luke warm including the coffee. I'm not prone to complaining in a restaurant but I'm a retired food service employee for 22 years and temperature is vital to a good dish.

Timeless destination in historic Sandwich for a great upscale dining experience. From burgers to filet mignon, lobster. Something on the menu for everyone. I highly recommend.

Delicious onion soup! Salad was too big for me to finish! Waitress was attentive. Had a nice lunch catching up with friends. We lingered over our drinks but never felt rushed!

Food, service and ambiance excellent . Frequent customer for as many years as you’re in business. Have been to all different iterations of DW and all have been wonderful. Server yesterday was exceptional. Efficient and friendly. Thank you for my birthday discount. It was a nice surprise!

Great atmosphere, terrific service. Wine selection was a bit limited. Food was very good.

My husband and I like the tavern and had a reservation for a high top, but when we arrived on time; they were not available. We were able to get a seat and the bar, where we decided to have dinner. (I prefer a table, but my husband likes the bar, so we compromised, since it was Valentine's Day and he was paying the bill.....:). The service was great! The wine and food were fabulous! The food came out pretty quickly so we were very happy!

We had an excellent Valentines Day dinner. The conservatory was beautiful with views of the lovely garden fountain dusted with snow. Our service was wonderful. My filet was tender and delicious and cooked perfectly to medium rare. My husband loved his dinner as well.

I took my wife out for Valentine Day to one of her best restaurants. Our server was great. However, my, dinner, prime rib, was awful. I suspect that they cooked my prime rib sous vide, which did not meet my expectations. My entree was very tough and fatty. Not a good experience for me.
