Da Claudio consistently delivers authentic, delicious Italian dishes with friendly, quick service. Favorite dishes include sausage shishito pepper pasta, lamb saffron ragu, scalloppine di pollo and tagliata. We had the special salad, of cucumbers, radicchio, orange, mild goat cheese, slivers of red onion in sherry vinaigrette - refreshing and delicious. The wine list is an extensive and carefully curated tour de force of Italian wines, with unique and delicious examples of many Italian classic grapes, great value for money. Always a delight!

I was fortunate to find this restaurant close to my hotel. I made a reservation and was greeted by Claudio. I was dining solo and received top notch service. I had a glass of rosé wine and the bresaola appetizer, followed by bucatini all’arrabbiata. All were excellent. The ambient music was soothing, not too loud. I had an opportunity to chat a bit with Claudio, which was a plus.

It was a rainy and windy night and we literally ran into Da Claudio. The host greeted us warmly and showed us where we could leave our soaking umbrellas. It was like they were waiting for us! We had house Pinot Grigio, which was good but it was the food that was exceptional. I asked for a pasta to be switched around, I wanted the spinach fettuccine in carbonara sauce and they accommodated my request. It was beyond delicious! Everyone at our table was pleased with their food. Their portions aren’t huge, which I personally love. The cappuccino and dresser where phenomenal (see pic)! It tastes better than it looks; mango strawberry cheesecake with fresh fruit and berry compote, to die for! The kitchen is open concept and the staff was attentive. We can’t wait to go back!

The food and service are always excellent. On my most recent visit, the Caesar salad was dressed perfectly and the bechamel sauce in the lasagna brought an elegance to the dish. The martini was also delicious! Whether I am there solo or with a group, it's always a memorable experience. Great place!

this place is an 11. what do i mean that? I mean its food -- from bread to profideroles -- made me laugh. I had to laugh because it was absurd that these tastes existed. And even more absurd that I'd never tasted those tastes before. I am filled with gluten. I am also filled with hope. Hope that other people will stumble across this magnificent, uncut italian gem. I don't need anything else to happen in my life. I'm good now.

We came for my birthday. We were also staying at Moxy hotel and this was a great location for us. The ambiance, the service, the menu choice…magnificent. If we could give 10 stars, we would. They had us at the Cesar salad…magnificent. The entrees…magnificent.

The ambiance is magnificent, the atmosphere is chill, but cool. The food is amazing and the service and staff is not only friendly, but top notch. Special thanks to the chef. We all enjoyed our superb meals. The evening was everything our friends and I hoped it would be. This place is truly fantastic! 100% worth it.

Food tasted good. Vibe was great. They did serve bread with walnuts which wasn’t ideal since I do have a nut allergy but they gave us more white bread as a replacement. I do think they should be a little more careful. No harm done though and as a whole it was a good experience.

Our last evening in NYC - and it was worth it. Italian cuisine at its best, yet with a modern twist. Unobtrusive service with just the right amount of attention. And only a ten-minute walk to the Brooklyn Bridge after a perfect meal. Highly recommended.

Pleasant staff and creative kitchen, but the noise level was more than "energetic." Happy to see restaurants active once more, but, when a request for a quiet table cannot be honored, I for one would be grateful for advance warning.

This place is a hidden gem. Fantastic food so well prepared and special. Claudio has this down. I would come in to the city just to have dinner here. 5 stars are just not enough. If you are downtown skip everywhere else and come here.
