Au restaurant Wing Lei, la chef Yu Ming, une étoile montante, allie magistralement les saveurs de la Chine avec la technique occidentale pour créer une cuisine singulièrement délicieuse. C'est le seul restaurant chinois aux États-Unis à avoir obtenu une étoile Michelin. Le charme commence à opérer dès que vous entrez dans cet espace exotique, aux accents de verre miroitant, de pierres du tigre, de nacre de perle et d'accents d'or. Le décor, avec ses lignes courbes et riches, est destiné à évoquer l'idée du Shanghai des années 30. Chaque centimètre de ce restaurant a été méticuleusement planifié et conçu avec amour. Que ce soit du côté des fourrures, des tapisseries opulentes sur les chaises ou encore des subtiles notes dorées sur les baguettes noires décorant les tables.
