Pera tire son nom d'un quartier élégant à Istanbul qui a servi comme le melting pot pour de nombreuses cultures et cuisines depuis le 17ème siècle. Pera propose de nombreux mezzés, de la viande grillée spécialement préparée et marinée, des fruits de mer, des plats d’accompagnement méditerranéens modernes et traditionels et des pains régionaux cuits à la minute. Les plats principaux se concentrent sur les viandes grillées délicatement marbrées qui sont cuites sur un gril à feu ouvert de 10 pieds de long.
