Amazing experience from the service to the food. I’m vegan and we ordered a full vegan meal and it was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

We have been eating here for years. The food is always amazing. I like the lively crowd and ambiance. However, we have been very disappointed with service the past few times we have been in. During our last visit our server basically dropped off our main courses and vanished for at least 30 minutes. We had to leave our table and go to the bar to get drinks, and later had to go to the bar to ask for our bill. To make matters worse, the restaurant charges a 4% “service” fee. I don’t mind paying for fees like this but i expect good service in return. it was such a bummer because the food was spectacular.

We love this restaurant and have been several times. The food is always great. My only complaint would be that this one time, our server made a lot of effort to up-sell us on food and drinks.

Wow! My girlfriend and I have just hit our two-year mark, and I chose to take her to Cucina Enoteca, a place that my family has known for some time, as we own Diamond Boutique across the street. Upon arrival, this place is beautiful, and there are many opportunities for great photo spots and great lighting! Their customer service and attentiveness to refills were amazing, and our food came very quickly. I ordered a spaghetti with meatballs, and my partner ordered their burger. Both meals were amazing; one comment I will make is that if you like your patties well done, make sure to ask them to make sure they don't burn the patty. Burger 8/10. Pasta 10/10. Love this spot and will be returning soon!

We love this place and everything is great here! My daughter gets the kids menu noodle with butter and Parmesan and always gets extras as she loves Parmesan. We love the truffle fries and margherita pizza. Always with a bottle of recommended red wine and end with some sweet vanilla ice with chocolate and strawberries. Perfect evening with family!

We love this place and go often. The bolognese, and pizza are great. There’s a new gem lettuce salad that’s really delish too. Cocktails are solid. The happy hour is a good value.

Good Italian food. They do good pizzas. Fun for the kids as they can make their own pizza at the table. Nice selection of wines. Have been a couple of times and will go back occasionally.

Wait staff was friendly and well trained. Menu was not what we expected for an Italian restaurant. No spaghetti and meatballs, no lasagna, no bread..food was expensive and not very appetizing.

All food ordered was delicious!! Grilled octopus dish and squash blossoms apps were amazing! Ravioli dish is a seasonal item, was prepared perfectly. Rigatoni bolognese is a must try.! Oh wow I am so so impressed! Truly this experience exceeded my expectations. We came in with a party of four to celebrate my birthday. The hosts had a table prompt and ready and our server Sol was quick to greet us. Everyone loved what they ordered. My one friend is vegetarian and found some thing Perfect for her. I particularly loved the chop salad and the hot honey pepperoni pizza! The vibe was really positive and comfortable. Lots of families dates, parties, all kinds of groups. I also adore the bathroom with love notes on the wall! Parking was plentiful and a breeze. Made it a bday to remember.

Went there for a romantic dinner with my wife. We were on our honeymoon and wanted have some delicious food and a nice glass of wine. And we were not disapointed. Been coming here for a few years now and Cucinca Entoeca always delivers a experience to remember

The octopus appetizer was excellent. Loved the charred flavor of the octopus and the Mediterranean gigantes salad was delicious accompaniment. The meat of the braised short ribs was tough, not melt in your mouth tender as expected, and the tomato sauce lacked flavor. Lackluster wait staff. Lovely atmosphere but very noisy.

I have frequented Cucina Enoteca numerous Times over the last 10 years and granted it was busy last night but one of our servers was really curt and rude. When we asked for larger plates for our shared salad for 4 as we were doing everything family style he argued with us. I pointed out that they had taken our cutlery after our appetizer and he totally ignored me and didn’t come back with any new sets for us so we had to wait till we could catch the eye of another server. When we asked which pasta was which as one of us doesn’t eat meat he seemed annoyed with us for asking. Our waitress Allison was lovely but also MIA half the time. We were a table of 4 who are not demanding customers. Also when a salad costs $39 and is said to be family size I except a little more of the added ingredients and not a bowl full of lettuce and also a little more taste to it. The Brussel sprouts and mushroom pizza were delicious !

Meal was outstanding. Pizza, burger, salads, dessert. Perfect Father’s Day Tuesday splurge. Little pricey but overall good value! Music was a bit loud & not my choice for dining. Otherwise, great!!

It was just fine. My friend had the steak and she thought it was awful. I had the chicken Milanese and it was just fine. There are so many amazing restaurants these days I cannot imagine rushing back here.

From the hostesses, bartender and our waiter, it was a really lovely experience. My friend and I enjoyed drinking wine and having the meatball appetizer and never once felt rushed to turn over the table. It has always been a favorite spot to eat at in Del Mar.
