Cork Wine and Tapas Bar is located in New Bedford, Massachusetts and strives to serve delicious food made with seasonal fresh ingredients. Weekly food and drink specials are offered on all three levels of dining (Lounge, Main Dining Room and Taber Room). Local live music is performed on Friday and Saturday nights in the Main Dining and Taber Rooms. We offer exclusive event spaces for any function; please inquire with any of our knowledgeable staff to get information.

Fun location, very good overall, great staff, live entertainment appreciated. My main complaint was it was a bit pricey relative to the food quality, at least for one dish (fish tacos) of three main ordered. Two other main dishes were very good.

This place has a wonderful atmosphere. However , that's the only bright spot. There was only one server on the floor we were seated on. She was pleasant but one is not enough . The food, below average and a huge disappointment. We ordered the calamari which was supposed to have banana peppers and an aioli sauce . It came out burnt with no hint of any flavor let alone peppers and aioli. We let the server know and the manager did come and apologize. We asked for bread while we waited for our meals. It also came out nearly burnt. I had salmon which was tasty but the green beans were burnt too! My husband had steak tips which he enjoyed but the crab-mashed potatoes were totally cold. The only saving grace was the wonderful soloist playing a guitar and singing . Go there only for a drink ! Save your money

First time there. Loretta was our server. She did a wonderful job explaining the menu and suggesting dishes to try. She was also able to make a nonalcoholic beverage that was not on the menu. Loved her. Very welcoming upon arrival and they have valet parking. Will be returning.

Lovely place. We sat in the lower level at a booth to spontaneously celebrate a friend’s birthday (group of three). The wine flight and cocktails were very good. The tapas were all excellent - we particularly appreciated the crispiness of the calamari, the Spanish stuffed peppers were out of this world and the weekly empanada was top notch. I think it was artichoke or spinach - I don’t remember which but it was excellent. We also ordered the mussels which were very enjoyed. Too full for dessert - all the more reason to come back!

We come often because of the variety on the menu and overall ambiance. Always great staff that make you feel welcome. Sat upstairs this time with a mello live guitarist and other patrons celebrating bdays. Everyone friendly and enjoying themselves. Food was delicious, good portions, wide bar choices. Local treasure
