Our waitress and the food was great. However, when we arrived we asked if we could sit in a booth because we were cold. We were told that all booths were for bigger parties. The hostess was very unfriendly and made it clear we were putting her out. If the restaurant was full, I might just have figured she was overwhelmed by a crowd. However, there were very few diners in the cafe, and all the occupied booths had only two or three people. We asked again as we were escorted through the empty restaurant with a table set for 5 people and saw all the empty booths. The hostess rudely told us no again and that at least we could look out the window. Remember, we asked to sot somewhere warm and being seated in front of a huge window defeated that purpose. The restaurant only seated one or two other parties while we were there. I believe the hostess on duty should be trained to be polite and treat customers with respect. It was a horrible way for us to start our experience. We only travel to the Central Coast once per year and look forward to friendly service from the staff at The Madonna Inn. Very disappointed.

Prices were increased since our last visit. Sirloin steak salad smaller portion this time. Inattentive waiter. Delicious cake to celebrate a birthday!

Delicious food. Pipukar place, so u fortunately, the food took a kong time to be served to us, at least a half hour. We left quite satisfied, anyway.

I ordered the fish sandwich, no bread, and my husband had the pastrami sandwich on a French roll. We always split a salad w/bleu. Food is consistently excellent as well as the servers.

I love Madonna Inn. It’s such a fun place to visit. This restaurant is adorable. The host was very great and friendly. The food was mediocre and service wasn’t good at all, but I’ll give 4 stars for the location itself. Food and service are one star , but I’ll return because it’s such a cute place. The cuteness outweighed the bad food and bad service.

Even with the reservation, we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. They also ran out of desserts.

First time eating at Madonna Inn's Copper Cafe - it was a very fun experience, and the food and service were excellent! I have the best Monte Cristo sandwich I've ever had! Disney's Blue Bayou restaurant has a great Monte Cristo, but this was slightly better! The restaurant was a tiny bit loud, and table are pretty close together, but our party of three had a very enjoyable time, and we were definitely able to hear each other and carry on good conversation. We will come back!!
