My husband and I made reservations to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We had been to Coopers Hawk before. Starting off we both asked for flavored tea that was listed on the menu, and told by our waitress they didn’t have flavored ice tea. It came time to order, and the item I chose, told me they did not have. (Not having good luck). The wait staff were walking around talking to each other, putting things out on our table while we are trying to eat. (Electric candle, one time, then came back again to put some kind of menu on the table), again, while we are eating. Who I’d assume was a manager was showing someone the back room where you can host parties. They were talking “shop”, loudly right next to us as we were trying to eat. Very unprofessional. We pay too much to eat there to have that kind of poor service. Won’t be going back again.

Food was excellent as usual. My friend and I were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch, visit, enjoyed good wine, an overall relaxing afternoon with a good friend.

We dined with a group of friends, there were nine of us. We had a large round table which was ideal for dining. The food was delicious, as usual. The service was wonderful. Our Cerner, David, did an outstanding job. We had a great time.

The food was generally good but they clearly were understaffed so service suffered. We had a reservation and were seated just shy of an hour after our reservation time. We weren’t alone, everyone had long waits from what we could see. Once seated the waiter came promptly and took our order. He was congenial and helpful. None of the service problems were his fault, he was hustling all the time but they didn’t even have anyone to bus tables or help deliver food, so the servers had to do everything. A very nice pretzel bread, wine and our shared appetizer, potstickers, were delivered quickly, which we appreciated since we were very hungry by that point. We enjoyed the potstickers though they would have benefited from a bit of heat (spice not temperature). Then we waited about an hour before the main courses arrived. Apparently the kitchen was backed up. My husband liked his chicken medeira very much and I was satisfied with the salmon, though I would have preferred it cooked a bit less as I had requested. The wine was good. I didn’t go for their suggested pairing because it seemed too sweet and chose a Pinot Noir instead. We were too tired to wait around for dessert or coffee. We still tipped generously since we wouldn’t penalize the server for the deficiencies of the restaurant, but we were not happy with the experience overall.

We had reservations for Mother’s Day at 5:30 but weren’t seated until 6:15. The waitstaff were great and the meals were deliciously prepared. However, my wife really wanted the lobster but the kitchen had run out so we had to choose a different menu item.

Mother’s Day, seated 30 minutes after reservation time. Quite business, service was very good considering how busy they were. Apparently way over booked on reservations.

I had reserved a table for four. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. Since they were busy, we understood. After looking at the menu for about 45 minutes our server finally put in our order. We waiting an hour for our food to come out and it was cold. Needless to say we were pretty ticked off lol. If you'd like to have a lovely dinner, don't go to Cooper's Hawk in Springfield.
