Birthday celebration with great view of water from upper (street level) floor. We had two fab tequila cocktails each, trying various and not deciding on a favorite. Entrees of snapper and pompano preparations were tasty and satisfying. Pre dinner Caesar salad and 1905 salad were good starters. The 1905 was made tableside. Deserts of Chocolate Sueno and Creama Catalana were decadently sweet & yum. Server Milton was a pro and jumped to meet every request. All the servers looked to study their tables and be ready to accomodate diners. Beautiful ambiance felt like a trip to Cuba. Parking lot at prime time is busy. Shops reserve spaces for time limit so there's threat of tow. On the second loop around valet was there to efficiently take care of my vehicle. Walking from hotel zone would be easiest. We came from residence inland so did not have that choice. A delightful experience once vehicle was stowed away.

The experience wasn't as expected. We had a reservation and requested outdoor seating. Once we arrived we were told to wait as a few tables were expected to clear up. Once we were called to be seated they walked us to a table which was abruptly taken by a walk-in group. Instead of asking them to leave the table, they were a bit loud and seemed to be a bit bottom shelf, we were told the table was "stolen" by a walk-in. They made us wait again and there was no apology, no attempt to correct the situation for even Any acknowledgment of the inconvenience. We were then seated at a terrible table near the bussing station. We ordered the supposedly famous salad they are known for and it was drenched in oil and balsamic vinegar, it was wet wilted lettuce by the time they were done tossing it. It was not good at all the stuffed gripper was good, the calamari was good but the carrots and paella were terrible. The rise was pretty much regular rice with peas. The carrots were burnt as they were over roasted. The bill did not reflect the experience and the quality of the food. I definitely would not recommend this place. Overhyped and under managed.

Always fun and the food is great as is the location. Our bartender was relatively new and the mojtos were not good. Add some rum!

We love Columbia and we would consider ourselves regulars as we are fortunate to live nearby. Lately, it has been disappointing to see the quality of the vegetables and would be nice to see them offer new and fresh items. Tonight I had steak and a double order of vegetables. It didn’t look appetizing at all. It tasted “okay.” Also the steak wasn’t cooked to my order and had to go back. The vegetables are supposed to be grilled, but not great. Over cooked to the point that looks black. Please offer something fresher!

Found the Cuban sandwich and crab cakes not good at all. But the Spanish Bean Soup, bread and desserts were great!

Even on a rainy day seating on the deck provided a great view of Clearwater Bay and protection from the storm when it appeared. The automatic shades were great! The greeting was pleasant and the service was very responsive. Our selections were delicious and large enough to provide great leftovers the next day.

El día anterior habíamos comido en Columbia de st Augustine. Allí el servicio y la comida fueron excelentes. En el local de Clear Water , la recepcionista nos atendió de muy mal humor. El local estaba más sucio y además el servicio en general es mucho peor. La comida si tiene la misma calidad en ambos locales

20/10 highly recommend!!!! We will be back again and again! The best margarita I’ve ever had in a restaurant! Red snapper was absolutely wonderful!! Our waiter was very knowledgeable of all the dishes, and was also super polite and friendly, thank you Jose!

I usually do not try anything new. I eat very American basic foods and slightly “picky” eater. Tried this place because of so many reviews barely able to understand the menu and figured I probably wouldn’t love it. If this is you… TRY IT Was one of the best places Ive ever had a meal! Tried foods Id have never eaten back home and LOVED them! Was so full of culture and amazing dishes. This is the only place in all of Clearwater I have been impressed with! Must try!

Everything was perfect as an overall experience but our server Brooke looked really tired as if she wanted to wrap up the night to go home and she transmitted this to us. She barely came in to check on us. She would disappear for over 30 min where we had to ask other servers for assistance. When we were ready to pay she wasn’t around for a long time already and my boyfriend had to stand up and find someone to get the check. She was nice to us but we could tell she was having a rough day and this did affect our experience. The food was perfect!

Poor table by kitchen. Very noisy. Food was okay but setting detracted from experience. Went for anniversary and noted that with reservation but no free dessert or any recognition in any way. Unlike other restaurants in the past.

The food is always good at Columbia and the staff is attentive. The problem is the parking. They have valet but there is never enough staff for valet and the wait time is long. On top of that, they now charge you $6 for valet. The parking situation is their problem, not mine. Don’t charge me to park when I spend a couple hundred on a meal. I am hesitant to go back.

It was a packed house for Mother’s Day dinner! Our table was ready on time, our special request was granted. Our server was outstanding (Brooke). She answered our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent! Several of us had the grouper special which had a delicious citrus sauce over it. Their 1903 salad is the best- fresh and tossed at your table.

Overall good. Two issues we didn’t anticipate. 1. No cappuccino even though we have had this before on a couple occasions. I don’t think the waiter wanted to serve this. 2. Paid valet parking. Didn’t think we would be charged $6 for parking.

Considering Mothers Day is one of the busiest days in the year for families to treat mothers, the quality of the food was excellent. Our server Brook was very pleasant.

Savannah greeted us promptly and energetically at our window table and explained the history of Columbia and its founding family as well as the specials. She brought us our order timely and made sure that we had everything we needed despite having many tables to serve. As always, the grilled salmon and picadilo criollo were exquisite. The complementary flan with large strawberry to help us celebrate our 40th anniversary were a sweet completion of our great experience at Columbia.

I ordered a well done filet mignon and the server brought me a filet that was burnt outside and raw in the inside. I kindly asked him to cook it a bit more and fix the problem and when the filet came back to the table it was completely tasteless.We had similar issues with the drinks ( red sangria instead of white) . The bread was served at the same time of the main course, and more mistakes in the order…Horrible experience! I wouldn’t recommend it to friends and family.

Been here many times and consistently good comfort food, table side salad, paella marinara, drinks are on point. Is it a bit of a hassle to get in, due to the cramped parking? Yes, however, the valet service is excellent…for $6.-

Classic 1905 vibe with attentive service, the best salad I’ve ever had tableside and great food and drinks. Large and lively. Get reservations on the weekends!

Their salad is absolutely delicious. There was four of us, three ordered there’s with turkey. Of course the sangria was perfect.

We were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary while on vacation in Clearwater. Columbia is a special place with great old world ambience, attentive service and wonderful food. We haven’t been disappointed anytime we have dined there over the years.

One of my favorite restaurants. A few work friends and I met for dinner and really enjoyed it. Food was great as always. Our server was Jess and she was excellent; very friendly, organized and helpful. She knew the menu well and made solid recommendations. We had a table next to railing outside. This provided a beautiful view and was very comfortable (weather). Highly recommend.

We reserved a table outside. Our Server, Noel, was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, as always. The food presentation is always nice. We ordered the Spanish Bean Soup and 1905 Salad. Our Entrees were Bolliche “Criollo” and Arroz con Pollo Valenciana. The Beef was tender and flavorful . The Chicken pieces were also tender and along with the rice very flavorful. For dessert the Chocolate Sueno was fantastic! I should have ordered two. We are Seasonal visitors to Florida twice a year and always dine at Columbia Sand Key.
