Exploité et géré au sein de la même famille depuis plus de 110 ans, le Columbia Restaurant est plébiscité pour son charme d'antan et sa cuisine espagnole/cubaine reconnue. Les tenues décontractées sont acceptées. Les chemises sans manches des hommes sont cependant refusées. Venez tester des recettes familiales centenaires comme la paella à la Valenciana, le filet Mignon Columbia et des spécialités de fruits de mer frais. Goûtez à la salade d'origine du Columbia 1905 Salad®, préparée avec un délicieux assaisonnement frais, une recette centenaire à base d'ail, d'origan, de vinaigre de vin et d'huile d'olive extra vierge espagnole. Ne manquez pas de déguster un bon vin espagnol comme le Montecillo ou le Campillo.     Food, service and vibe was great. Lots of menu options too. Definitely don’t skip the 1905 Salad

    We have dined at this restaurant several times over the years and always excellent. For some reason this time was different and had to send my entree back to the kitchen. The chicken was tough and another entree at our table , the skirt steak, was dry. Unusual and unexpected as we were treating guests to a nice evening meal so this was a bit embarrassing. Maybe just an off night.

    First time trying the restaurant. Loved the food! The menu offered a wide selection and variety, especially of seafood. We loved that the bread was served warm. The 1905 salad was phenomenal. The stuffed grouper was exceptional. The red snapper la rusa is good but felt like it needed a sauce or something. Our son loved their flan. The service is lacking sadly. We found ourselves always looking for our server for drink refills and the check. She didn’t acknowledged the birthday even though we noted on resvn. We jokingly asked for a bday candle for the slice of cake we ordered but still nothing. She’s a little wet behind the ears maybe. We’ll go back bec of the food.

    Exceptional food, reliably excellent service. This place remains one of my favorite spots to get great food when in area.

    We have a new puppy, so we chose to eat outside on the patio. It was a beautiful night, there was a gentle breeze, it wasn’t hot or humid, and it was nice to enjoy the atmosphere in Celebration. We were looking forward to a great meal at one of our favorite spots. ETA: the 3.5lb puppy was in a puppy backpack sleeping the entire time. She was our reason for eating outside, but had absolutely nothing to do with our experience with the server. No one would’ve even known she was there, she was quiet as a mouse. The issue with the evening at Columbia Restaurant was all about service - or the lack of it. From the very beginning, our server did not seem thrilled to be serving us outside (we were the only people on the patio that we could see). He was not amicable or engaging. I daresay he was not even friendly. We asked if there were any specials or recommendations and he shook his head and curtly responded, “no.” He was very short with us. I had to ask three times for one glass of wine and 3 times for a side of plantains. The palomilla steak I ate was delicious, but I enjoy having some plantain with each bite and I also wanted to sip my wine as I ate my food. I stopped eating about halfway through my meal to wait for the wine and plaintains to arrive and of course the temperature of my food lost heat, which is a pet peeve of mine. Call me crazy, but I like eating my food when it’s hot or at least warm! We are big fans of Columbia Restaurant. In fact, we were engaged here. ❤️ It is unfortunate that we experienced such poor service last night. We are friendly people, we like to engage in conversation with our servers, but this particular server didn’t even wish us a good night, ask how we were, or provide any hint of having personality. The person who delivered our food to our table was the very same. They both seemed very robotic and lacked warmth. I’m not sure why the ball was dropped, but what could’ve been a truly perfect night out was marred by stinky service.

    This restaurant is usually my husband's favorite, and it was his first choice for his birthday celebration. Unfortunately, our excitement was dulled by the disappointing service we received, which led to this negative review. As a current server, I understand that the job can be tiring at times. However, we are not the type of customers who constantly require attention, and we usually place straightforward orders. Nevertheless, we do expect to be checked on and offered refills before we leave. Our server, Aprajita, informed us that she was tired from the previous night, and her exhaustion was evident as she failed to check on us when our food arrived as well as through our visit. Our side order was also missed, and I had to leave the table after 10 minutes to ask another server to inform her that we had not received it. When she did come back to our table, instead of checking on us, she simply asked, "Is everything okay?" We would have liked to order a second round of drinks, but she never inquired if we wanted another. Additionally, she left our empty glasses on the table for the entirety of our visit. It wasn't until after our side order was finished that she checked on us and finally refilled my empty glass of water. Since it was my husband's birthday, I had specifically mentioned "Roberto's 51st Birthday" in the special instructions while making our reservation. Despite this, when the server asked if we wanted dessert and I declined, she then inquired about "Jason." When I clarified that I was Jason and it was my husband's birthday, she responded by saying that flan would be brought out shortly. It was perplexing. Our disappointment grew further when my husband's birthday surprise was mishandled. The flan, which was supposed to be a special treat, was simply placed on the table with a generic "Happy Birthday" and no celebratory song. To make matters worse, we could hear Happy Birthday singing at another table, only amplifying our disappointment.

    Great place for Latin food, all very delicious. Our waiter was very busy with larger parties so the service with drink refills wasn’t great. There was a lot of birthday celebrations near our table and we had a birthday that we were celebrating as well, my mom‘s 80th birthday. When it came to our desserts, despite having noted her birthday on the reservation, no one came out to sing for her like they were for all the other tables. However, at the end of our meal, they did comp her dessert because when they delivered her dessert by Son and I saying to her ourselves.  the fresh loaves of Cuban bread is a great touch and delicious. The specialty tapas crab croquettes’s needed some sauce. And the Langostino cannelloni was a bit chewy. But as always, the salad was amazing.
