La Havane rencontre Madrid au Coco Palm, le beau restaurant en haut de la colline surplombant la vallée de San Gabriel. Commencez votre soirée avec un mojito ou une sangria dans le salon, puis profitez d'un souper en écoutant un concert dans le restaurant élégant, spécialisé dans la cuisine espagnole et cubaine traditionnelle. Ne manquez pas la paella valencienne ou le steak maison, une côtelette de 1,5 kg idéale à partager. Une variété de fruits de mer frais est disponible tous les jours, depuis le homard, les crevettes, au saumon frais dans une sauce au vin Albarino ou de la longe de loup de mer avec une sauce mangue-miso. Wednesday Nights: The Coco Palm features a live trio band playing lively Bolero music and songs by Sandra Valdivia every Wednesday night from 7pm-9pm in the Bolero Room. Thursday Nights: Saxophonist Nate Wilson plays smooth sets of contemporary and classic music in the main bar lounge, which can be heard in all the dining rooms. Friday Nights: Enjoy an evening dinner, then take some Salsa lessons in the nightclub (lessons from 8:30p-9:30p). Then join the world famous "Chino Espinoza y Los Dueños del Son", a 10 piece live salsa band. Nightclub closes at 1:00am. It's always a good idea to call the restaurant for certain blackout nights, especially in December.

I don’t like to put bad reviews but this place was not what I thought it would be. First, when they sat us and we noticed the other people next to our table were leaving they dropped a knife and it was left on the floor for so long. Then they were setting the table and the knife was still on the floor. I finally had to say something to the other waiter that there was a knife on the floor. They finally picked it up. We then waited for over 30 minutes before the waiter took our order. The food was not good. The ceviche was bland and dry. My steak was tough and hard to chew. The only thing that was ok was the mini empanadas. Overall this place is not all that but the location . I will never return nor I will recommend. Sorry

We eat dinner here each year after spending the day at the L.A. County Fair. We have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and we always go home with enough leftovers for a couple of additional meals. Highly recommended!

Overall a great experience. If sitting inside the noise would be a non-issue. As we chose outside dining the road noise from the freeway was moderate but somewhat expected during the 4:30-6:00pm timeframe.

As a first time visitor I was hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I was disappointed to see the food served cold, overcooked, and missing items from the buffet such as the salad dressing which was empty. I had anticipated a higher standard of service and quality considering the reputation of the establishment. I was scouting an establishment for the county employee dinner and unfortunately I can not recommend the place. The price did not commensurate with the actual service and quality I expected. We had 6 guests and that totaled about 270$ what a waste of money and time.

The service was horrible, we have to remain the waiter he forgot 2 drinks and the second time we have to go looking for him, on top of this they automatically charged 20% tips difficult to believe, I thought tips were to rate the service a give according to the service, and he wasn’t even friendly. I came to this restaurant once in a wile, but now I have to think twice, very desapointed.

TLDR: If you come here on a "Non-Buffet" day, it's good. I had the Paella, and it was super delicious. Fish was fresh, rice tasted good, I took left overs home! Food during Buffet/AYCE I would consider it "edible". I was really happy to hear that they had a Sunday Brunch (Sunday Brunch was back!!) What I didn't like about the place was that you are forced to Valet there now (8.00) When I visited the restaurant, they didn't have a Valet service, and it was all self-parking. It honestly seemed like it was a money grab. But if the food speaks for itself, then I'll go through the valet. However that wasn't the case. The brunch included 1 Free Mimosa, or Champagne, or Orange Juice! The waitress was very attentive, and filled up my coffee every chance she got (Coffee is not included, an extra 5.00) . Prime Rib, 5/10 - Buffet Prime Rib, nothing to write home about, the Ceviche was 'Okay' nothing that makes it seem even remotely above average. Chicken was dry, the other meats were slightly overcooked. The Oxtail was decent, but the plantains stood out to me the most. Overall, I wouldn't go back to this place for Brunch Buffet because it was just "okay", definitely not worth 47.00. I'd say, with inflation, I would rank it slightly above Golden Corral so about 30-35/person because of the inclusion of a mimosa.

The Coco Palm Restaurant, had a wonderful environment, and was appointed quite well. Once we were seated by the hostess, there was a delay in the server arriving. We were provided with water, and never given the details about the Sunday brunch, or any details about the meal. We found our way to the buffet and to the selections. Later, when we inquired about Mimosas after consuming out meals, we were told that there was one mimosa included with the brunch, which we could’ve enjoyed throughout the meal. It was rather unfortunate that we received information after the fact as opposed to once we were seated at our table. The availability of more timely information would’ve made our dining experience considerably better.

The food was delicious, but the bread was too hard. Other than the bread we enjoyed the food tremendously and will go back again. We were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary so Coco Palm made it a memorable and enjoyable experience. The musicians were very good and made our anniversary a special moment. My favorite were the shrimp, oxtails and ropa vieja. The shrimp was tender and the meats were juicy and tasty. The flan was also very good.

We love coming back to Coco Palm after having our wedding here last year. The food is spectacular, the views are gorgeous! It feels like an occasion just being here.

The venue has a great view of the city, mountains and awesome for a romantic sunset 🌇. The food was really good, but since we are Hispanics, it needed a bit more flavor, but overall good. The ambiance were relaxing, and the music was just right,allowing you to have a decent conversation without screaming.

I was d disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We got sat in the area they hold weddings which was random. I left not part of the restaurant vibe since the inside areas have pictures and mood lighting. Also we ordered coffee and they took a while to then tell use it wasnt working.

I Ordered the Palomilla dish with a salad, the wife ordered the Lechon Asado. We both had drinks that were pretty nice presentation and flavor. Salad came out and presentation was, we will just say in a bowl and flavor was marginal. The wifes Pork was exceptional in presentation and flavor. She was very pleased. On the other hand my beef tasted like it was over marinated and has a very pastey flavor and I just couldn’t eat it. I had to return it. I chose another Churrasco dish and it was brought out quickly for me. Flavor was Outstanding. Our waiter really tried hard and we appreciated his effort to set things right. Unfortunately my first plate literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Food is great but server did not tell us anything for last call for drinks so my wife couldn’t drink what she wanted and at the end of the night they were super unprofessional. Didn’t even bother to give us a bag for our to go boxes I had to go look for one at end of night.

We tried for 4 years to get a reservation on Valentines Day and this year we were finally able to. The service was amazing! However, the food wasn't. We received most of our food at a lukewarm temperature, didn't seem like food was being prepared as it was being ordered. Food is a lot better on regular days when they serve a full menu than on a special event holiday. I wouldn't really recommend going on a holiday where they serve a limited menu.

I can’t believe I am writing this review. This time last year, I would have 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. After visiting this place on Tuesday, I would not recommend it. The service started out just okay. Towards the middle of our visit, it seemed as though our waiter stoped tending to us. He would tend to the table next to us, and even when we tried to call him over he was nowhere to be found. The quality of the food has gone down in the last year. The calamari was super chewy. The white rice was super crunchy and not chewable. The palomilla was quite fatty. The paella was just okay. Even the garnish on the drinks were dull and not fresh. Overall, I was super disappointed in my visit to coco palm. I don’t mind paying a higher price for good quality food, but to me, coco palm is overpriced and not worth it.

The food was delicious with generous portions. I haven’t gone to other high end Cuban restaurants in OC and the food taste was definitely better here at the palms! I am going back tonight already to give other things on the menu a try!

Nice place to celebrate important gathering. One thing I don’t like is the valet parking which cost us an $8 without having a option if we can just park by ourselves, crazy thing they just park our car 20meters in front of us.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and we had an amazing time the drinks were strong, the food was delicious, and the staff was amazing. The seating was just right and it felt peraonal exactly what we where looking for. We would definitely dine here again
