Cette ancre de Little Italy axée sur le développement durable est une ode à la Calabre. Le chef Pietro Gallo prépare des fruits de mer typiques du sud de l'Italie, ainsi qu'un rare menu entièrement végétalien comprenant des lasagnes au ragoût sans viande. Ce sont les classiques de la nonna réinterprétés pour les habitants de San Diego soucieux de leur santé.

    The food would have been good, but way too salty! Salty, bread followed by salty lasagna. Unfortunate

    This broke my heart made reservations 2 month in advance because of the experience advertising of it. Just got to say everything was So salty could not even eat! The bread had chunks of salt we shook it off to eat it. We assumed it was the style. But it didn’t end there. My mom ordered Cesar salad with chicken, the chicken was dry, old fried, and it was like a dry oily salt ball, so salty and inedible, she did not eat it. My husband order lasagna ( most famous/ ordered items ) horribly salty he could not eat it either. (I should mention as we were walking in a couple walked out of restaurant with more than half of their lasagnas on their plates, I wondered why) our experience explained their departure. When we informed them of our experience (we didn’t want refund) instead of offering to order something else the only said we get you a free pice of cake. We walk out not eating our foods ( just like the couple) and paying more than it was worth.

    We felt rushed in and out. When seeing above 4 stars and some reviews of this spot we thought this would have some great meals however it turned out to be the opposite. From the moment we got there it was a rush to get orders being out food and sprint off to other tables. The food quality tasted like microwave meals and processed/packaged. I think we may have been there 40 mins before handed our check. Not a place to enjoy yourself, relax or dine. I could not finish my meal and also felt sick after. The worst part about this was I had second thoughts about dining here but they will charge your card $35 pp if you cancel your reservation. Tourist trap beware!

    We tried 3 different pastas and were unimpressed by all of them. The cream sauce was flat, the noodles were rubbery, and the raviolis were barely stuffed. I can make pasta out of a box and sauce out of a jar taste better at home for $10. Very unimpressed by this restaurant and shocked at how many good reviews it has.

    Birthday Dinner - had a great meal and really enjoyed this place. Nice and reasonably priced Italian wine list

    Impeccable service by fabulous Italians who served up the very best! Fresh bread with house made pesto, incredible Zuchinni blossoms. House Pappardelle with short rib, pistachio encrusted salmone with fresh zuchinni, bruschetta with whipped ricotta, house Aperol spritzes!! Canolli for dessert!! Will return very soon!!

    Nice Italian vegan options and good service. It’s noisy when full but we had a great time. Portions are very large, good for sharing

    Greeted with open smiles. Food, service and ambience all above expectations. My server Natalie was exceptional and provided a warmth that truly had you feeling as a special somebody. Ordered the Vegan Caprese, Vegan Fiore Ripieno and Vegan Ragu Di Funghiall. Very fulfilling, aroma and flavors with balanced. High compliments to chef and kitchen crew. Altogether the evening was great until my bill arrived. The restaurant applies an Employee Support Surcharge (4.00%). Not opposed to helping in anyway, but I find this should be the restaurant's responsibility. Improve your workers wages!!! But would I dine again? Yes.
