Great evening the entire team took very good care of us, everything cooked properly no issues, a deeper wine list would be great but they had really good choices on their compact list

We were hoping to catch the end of Stone Crab season (technically ends 5/1) and we were in luck. Claws were $39 each, which isn't too bad a price. We shared a bone in ribeye which had a great taste but a bit chewy. My daughter's filet was also a little chewy. We shared the loaded backed potato, just average and a good key lime pie. Overall it's about $133 per person after tip. This a a NYC steakhouse price. I am used to a $100 per person price tag. Service was terrific and they have valet parking. All in all, we will eat there again as we have regularly.

Bad night obviously. Seated 40 min after reservation time at a makeshift table in the bar which was packed with others not being seated. Food came very delayed and steaks were average. Obviously much better places in NOLA. Too bad wasted a restaurant opportunity here.

Had an excellent meal. Starting with a well made manhattan, moving to shrimp cocktail and a wedge salad. Good wine list by the glass, more options by the bottle (which isn’t unusual) but we just wanted a glass. My strip steak was excellent and my husband had the sea bass which he also enjoyed. Could use a few more dessert options but the ice cream with fudge sauce was actually really good. I would go back again for sure.

Excellent appetizers (shrimp cocktail) and quality steaks. Wine selection was also top notch. We loved the ambiance with John Autin playing the piano!

As absolute steak lovers, the tomahawk steak served in the perfect degree of doneness as ordered was essential for a good dining experience. Steaks were amazing!!!Melt in the mouth filet mignon. Bone-in ribeye was top notch. Mushroom/onion medley was to die for. Server did not acknowledge birthday of party member. Ordered dessert and recieved bill with the expectation of paying tab before we had finished eating. A little pretentious and hurried.

Great food, great service. Steak was excellent. Perfectly cooked. It is loud with the live music so if you are trying to talk to someone over dinner I would steer clear. Otherwise excellent!

Everything was wonderful! My fiancé dined here several times before, but it was my first visit. The Rum Sour was my favorite cocktail -- fiancé tried two others and mine, the Rum Sour, was the standout. The batter fried lobster tail is a MUST if you've never had a lobster tail fried! So delicious. My filet was perfectly temped. Overall fabulous evening. We dined outside and the weather was perfect!

The area was so dark you can’t hardly read the menu. The music was pleasant but too loud and hard to hear across the table. The baked shrimp was swimming in butter and too greasy to truly enjoy. Otherwise, good service from the staff.

From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave the staff makes you feel important and that you matter!!! Food is phenomenal and the servers are great and actually care about their customers. Chophouse in the Crescent City is and will be a favorite!!

Always a great meal. Usually get the ribeye, Caesar salad, Lyonnaise potatoes and spinach. Never disappointed. Wish they would go back to preparation of the Caesar salad table side. Great selection of wines by the glass. Service is first class.

First time visiting for my partners bday and it will most definitely not be our last. Had an amazing time and the food was exceptional. Service was wonderful and I can't wait to return. My partner truly enjoyed herself, with having the 8oz filet mignon, while I had the almond toasted redfish and we shared the loaded baked potato, giant onion rings, and asparagus. Delicious!! Thank you Chop House for such an amazing experience! 10/10!!

Our reservation was late and our food reflected our late reservation. My sister and I ordered steaks which did not come out on sizzling plates. My baked potato was not hot. Instead, it was warm. You can tell the cook/chef was ready to go home. My food was not consistent with previous reservations at earlier times. I will never make a reservation later than 8:00.

Came for birthday celebration and made reservations on the Open Table App. Hostess was very pleasant. Waiter was a little too opinionated and assumed that I didn’t know what the menu was. Manager came around and only spoke to people that she knew. Felt a like I didn’t belong there. Food was good.

All of the many years we have been coming to our favorite town New Orleans for grazing through this cities wonderful cuisine. We found The Chop House. This is effective tonight our favorite place to eat in NOLA. Our waiter Jared was outstanding. The food oh my. I had Red Fish my husband had stone crab and shrimp. Both were phenomenal. Their old fashion was incredible and my husband’s dirty martini he loved. Great ambience, with impeccable service.

Our experience at chophouse was amazing! The steaks were cooked perfectly…best we’ve ever had. Drinks were excellent and the service was attentive and courteous. We went for our anniversary and so glad we did!

This was the worst steak house I’ve been to at this price point. The service was terrible we were the invisible table. Everyone’s food came out before ours. We had to ask for bread twice. Won’t return

Another great dining experience here with my husband. Waiter/ staff were efficient, knowledgeable, professional and great. Manager acknowledged us and came to our table. Highly recommend if you want best steakhouse in New Orleans. Everything is fresh and delicious. We will return again.
