Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night! Chop is located near the Vancouver International Airport and beside the Sandman Signature hotel. We’re only minutes from the River Rock Casino Resort and the Vancouver Skytrain.

Chop has ample parking available directly adjacent to the facility. All parking in the surrounding hotel is completely free for 3 hours upon license plate registration at one of the kiosks in the parking lot. Handicap parking is also available immediately in front of our restaurant near the entry.

Clearly the restaurant was already experiencing delays but the approach by management wasn’t well executed as we had to ask first before we were given free bread. Or any update on when the kid is coming. In the end we ended up waiting for almost 2 hours for our food to arrive and it was so late that we had no choice but to get it to go. I gave 2 stars for fair as they ended up comping our bill and given a food voucher for compensation.

Have had great experiences at this location previously but this time was terrible! Steak was overcooked, food was cold, waters and drinks weren’t filled up constantly.

After learning that it was our first time at a CHOP location, the manager personally came and gave us a free sample of the goat cheese, which was phenomenal. Staff seemed a bit too busy though restaurant wasn't too full, perhaps understaffed for the night, as well as they have a hotel connected so it could have been busy there. The experience was overall great though, staff was super friendly. Food was terrific. First time trying a Sous Vide Filet and it was quite worth it. Had the Lobster Mac n Cheese on the side and highly recommend that for any cheese lovers out there.

The food arrived just above room temperature, and the steak had to be sent back as it was undercooked. The salmon was slightly overcooked, but still quite edible. All around the seasoning was enjoyable, and good presentation on the plating. A man from the management team (I assume ) came by and apologized, with a promise to return later to verify if the steak was now satisfactory. I may have missed his return visit while I was making a trip to the restroom. We did not ask for; and did not receive any compensation for the misstep from the kitchen .

Best prime rib sandwich I have ever had. Everything on the menu was amazing. Chicken BLT was also fabulous. French fries & Caesar salad was outstanding. Very busy at lunch but never hurried us.

"We were warmly greeted by the friendly hostess and seated at our requested booth, where our attentive server, Cody, took care of us. As first-time guests, we were delighted when the chef brought us some bread with goat cheese to start our meal. The service was exceptional, with Cody paying close attention to every detail. He made so much effort to ensure the cocktail that I ordered was to my liking. Our prime rib was incredibly tender, and we also enjoyed the delicious tuna tataki and crab cake, although the escargot was just average. To make my son's birthday even more special, he received a complimentary dessert with 'Happy Birthday' beautifully written on the plate. The signed birthday card was a thoughtful and personal touch that we truly appreciated. Crème Brulee was a bit too sweet but flourless chocolate might be worth trying though it also can be less sweet. Espresso was just perfect. The overall dining experience felt warm and cozy, and we look forward to returning to try their ribeye steaks. Highly recommended!"

We have experienced a few Chop restaurants across Alberta and BC. The Richmond location is one of the best and our food was excellent and the service was top shelf.

Always wanted to try Chop for years. Finally tried it with friends to celebrate a birthday. Karen was especially lovely. Food was great and enjoyed the atmosphere. Would go back for sure.

Very enjoyable Happy Hour in the Lounge @ Chop Richmond. Good variety of food & drink options to choose from. White sparkling sangria was very refreshing! Wild mushroom and goat cheese dip w/ crostini very tasty, rich & filling. Garlic chili shrimp came with yummy mini ciabatta bread. Tuna tataki was served with edamame, sprouts & radish strips. The corn ribs were lightly battered, fried & seasoned and served with spicy lime aoli. Yum!! Finger lickin good! We lost sight of our server once or twice during the night but overall we were well served. Place was moderately busy but not noisy. Large outdoor patio to try when weather warms up!

Overall service is very good especially our server Evan. When he knew I don’t drink, he offered a special non-alcoholic cocktail that is not available on menu. He also surprised us with a dessert and a signed card with the team to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you so much.

Overall, partner and I had a splendid time and evening at Chops. Food was excellent, drinks were great. Really appreciate for the champagne surprise and the photo print from one of the workers/server with the fuji camera. Our server wasn’t at her best however, she given the attitude where it didn’t seem like she wanted to serve us, she never got out water for us, gave us a weird negative vibe with pressuring us to order when we just sat down and had barely anytime to look through the menu. On top of that , she never came to us to check on how our food was until close to end of the meal. She didn’t seem too happy with the amount of tip that was given to her at the end of the night when we paid, never thanked us for our visit nor “ have a nice rest of the night” A bit of a disappointment for her service. She also threw out the rest of our appetizer when we were still working on it ; we only thought she will take our plates out from our finished main course , didn’t expect her to clear the whole table and not returning with a take out box/container with our remaining appetizer. Given all our respect for the restaurant, we would only give our fullest credit and respect to the bartender and kitchen for the amazing food and beverages. We would come back for a visit occasionally for special reasoning for the food but wish that can get a better sort of service next time.

Prime rib and sirloin steak was wonderful! Free champagne was offered in Valentine’s night! Dessert trio was delicious. Good service and high value food with reasonable cost! Highly recommended!

I come here regularly; once every few months. Quality is always good, and you can get a proper steak until pretty late at night which you can't most places. Large dining room means they will usually have a table. Stress free.

Been there two times. Food is generally good but slightly cold for both times. Have to do something about it as it affects overall satisfaction. Steak’s doneness was perfect but halibut was dry.

The service was terrible. We sat I front of dirty dishes for over an hour at a business lunch and did not get offered a refill on coffee or water the entire time. Nobody came to ask if our food was ok (but it was so no concern there).

Our appetizer was not to our taste, and we were offered a replacement of our choice. Both our entrees were beautifully cooked and plated. Steak had a good sear and seasoning, and was cooked precisely as asked. Salmon flaked apart easily with fork and was moist and flavourful. Vegetables on both plates were well cooked and delicious. The service was attentive and never rushed. Additionally, they comped the appetizer and the dessert. We really feel that we were treated well - Bravo!

Always a great time at Chop. We wanted to take advantage of their happy hour but was told it was only available at the lounge area (we were seated at the dining area), but our server asked the manager and they still let us order from the happy hour menu. They also gave my daughter a small slice of cake on the house for her birthday. It’s not as big as the Billie miner mud pie they give you free on your birthday at the Keg though. LOL

Great value to come for happy hour. Lots of options for happy hours. Good for many occasions such as date nights, business meetings and family get together...etc

The food and service level are very consistent at CHOP. I liked the menu choices and the ambient here. Food is served fairly quick. Taste and presentation are pretty good. Good value.
