While the ambience and service were okay, the food was abysmal. Soggy pasta and soggy vegetables. Almost inedible. I wish someone had warned us away from this place. Instead, the average score was 4.0. From the dinner we just had there, I’d say it’s wildly inaccurate. The food is closer to 1.0.

Wonderful restaurant, wonderful food, and great service. It’s a bit loud, however! I had to scream so loud to get my thoughts across the table to my friends that my voice was horse for a few hours afterwards. Perhaps a little acoustical noise buffering would be helpful.

We sat outside and while both the restaurant and outdoor space were very sparse with patrons, it also was extraordinarily slow service. The food was okay, but we were always looking for a server having to ask for more water or salt and pepper for the table. Lackluster food & poor service.

Food was delicious- we had pastas, chicken and salmon-service was fast and friendly. We got stuck in traffic and they were very understanding when we called to let them know we’d be. Few minutes late.

Located 1/2 block from 14 St. A Train Subway station and a 12 minutes walk to the Whitney Museum of Art. Excellent food and service. Best fried calamari ever. Delicious Linguine con Polpette and Rigatoni Broccoli Rabe dishes. Other than restaurant music, the ambiance is quiet. A great find for dining.

One of the few open table restaurants where there score was not accurate. This is not a 4.6 restaurant.linguini and clam sauce was awful, chicken pizziola was fair, and the gnocchi came cold, Minestrone was bland, carpaccio didn’t have any truffle as stated on the menu. Place was not filled on a Saturday night. Would not go back

We had never been here before - but we will be coming back! The service, food, and the owner Jamie were all AMAZING!! We loved everything we had: fried calamari & zucchini, the special salad, homemade gnocchi with pesto, black pasta with smoked salmon, spaghetti with fresh clams, the fish special - everything was OUTSTANDING!!! Desserts were great too - Bomba and the carrot cake! Thank you Jamie and staff for a wonderful evening!

Spent a lovely afternoon over lunch with family. The restaurant was not busy, so it was quiet. Tables are set formally and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff was attentive but not hovering. Appreciated ordering from the dinner menu as a lunch option. We all enjoyed delicious meals!

Staff were excellent, attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was excellently cooked and presented. Our only criticism would be it needed more salt and pepper in the cooking. I would caveat that by saying that is something we have noticed in several places we have visited (from the U.K.) this week.

We arrived Saturday at noon, and ordered off the lunch menu but had a delicious and reasonably priced Pino Grigio from the brunch menu. We had a luscious pistachio and ricotta cake and rich dark coffee for dessert. It’s a short walk to the Joyce Theater and a lovely way to start the day.

We've been here twice for Brunch and once for Dinner. Every meal was delicious and the service wonderful. The cost is a bit expensive but overall a nice experience.

We enjoyed our food. No complaints. Wish we sat away from front window though. Too many people looking in at us... it was distracting. We were very happy with food. For the proce point we wish wine was better though. We would go back again and recommend it.

Passed by this place but never enter until we saw Winter Restuarant week so decided to give this a try! What a pleasant place to be. The toasted bread bits were a lovely treat. The food were very tasty and the care the Chef takes to plate the food were noted. Even the dessert Bomba had chocolate dusting spelled out Chelsea. Very lovely indeed. The servers were both very attentive and friendly. Will surely come back for lunch or dinner again and again!!

This was a new find for me and I was not disappointed! My husband and I dined with a friend and we all loved our meals. We shared some appetizers (eggplant parmigiana, artichokes and a salad) which were delicious! For our entrees we had mushroom risotto (extremely flavorful), pasta bolognese ( best I’ve had in years) and veal chop Milanese which melted in your mouth. We did save room for dessert which was the chocolate mousse pie

This place is AMAZING!! My very picky son ate his whole order of lasagna and his chocolate desert. I've NEVER seen him eat so much at one setting! He even said, "we need to come back here". I had the truffle pasta special, my father in law had a steak, and my husband had a bolognese. ALL ON POINT! They were kind, professional, quick, and PERFECT!!

I've eaten here several times. The food, the service, the drinks, the desserts are always wonderful. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays which just added to the enjoyment. You must try the beef carpaccio - heavenly!
