Neighborhood French-inspired bistro featuring an ever-changing French-Fusion menu that keeps you coming back to try the things you didn’t have room for.
Marianne’s organic garden helps supply Warren’s kitchen with his beloved fresh produce & both are actively involved in the local food movement.
The ambiance is fusion as well - bistro style rather than “fine dining” - that is at once classic French and comfortable with an open kitchen so foodies can watch the work in progress. Art work is a mix of Mucha prints and Warren’s photography. Music is quirky.
Nightly wine by the glass specials, carefully curated wine list and a delightful cocktail menu round out drinks offerings.
Neither high chairs nor booster seats are available.
Reservations are for a two hour time period.
Classic Parisian style sidewalk seating available.
Warren and his wife Marianne have spent the last twenty-five years delighting diners with their worldly cuisine & genuine hospitality.

Chef Warren’s is a favorite of ours. Food is always amazing and our server was exceptional. Great place for a date night when you want something a little more special with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly and knowledgable staff.

We are regulars at Chef Warrens and we have always had amazing food, service and drinks!! My sisters first time to Pinehurst so I had to take her here. She loved every single thing!!

Chef Warren's is always a must stop when my lovely bride and I are visiting my son and his fiancée in Southern Pines. The hanger steak or pork schnitzel are my favorite, but went with the recommended special, aged NY strip, potato pie with bacon, and mixed veggies and started with the arugula salad, all was absolutely delicious. My wife had the other special, broiled halibut with greens and goat cheese mashed potatoes. She started with the onion soup, and again, all delicious. The service is always top-notch and personable. Make Chef Warren's a night out with someone special.

This was my wife and my 40th wedding anniversary. I had a special gift for my wife and brought it to Chef Warren’s a couple of hours before our reservation. Emily, our server, was so sweet and helpful and made a big surprise to my wife. She had prepared our table in a quiet spot and was so happy and kind during the meal. Emily made our night very special!!!

I recommend getting some noise reducing panels. It was difficult to hear the conversation.

Atmosphere was romantic. Waitress Daffnie was the best. Well knowledgeable of menu and made our Anniversary special. The food was so wonderful. Best food and Anniversary I've ever had.

Another amazing meal at Chef Warrens with Michelle as the ultimate server. They continue to serve some of the best food in Southern Pines. My meal last night was the best i have had there and i have had many good meals there.

Service was above and beyond. Really like the atmosphere. My dish was little funky. Meat probably not stored at right temperature. I had ny strip sliced with mash potatoes/veg and my wife the cod which was way better than my dish. I didn't said anything since I did not want to ruin the date. I should of for $68 dollars I can probably get a wagu steak somewhere else. Both appetizer the shrimp wrap and the lobster ragoo were awesome. Their menu according with the waitress changes by season. So don't goby the pictures on the internet. Check their actual menu. I really like to support local businesses but I don't think I'll be back since they did not have anything for the kids . All employees very pleascent and attentive.

The steak you had was a dry aged steak, which is supposed to have a funk to it as that is the entire point of it. I'm sorry that you left unhappy - however, if you had mentioned your concern about proper food storage my staff would have explained the steak to you again. Food safety is of paramount importance as I am a Serve Safe instructor & proctor and have served on the Moore County Board of Health for 2 terms. I state on our website that I am the webmaster, so yes, the menu is probably not up to date. Our Open Table blurb makes it clear that we do not have a children's menu, nor any accommodations for small children. Chef Warren

From the cheese plate to the main course, absolutely excellent as always. Many compliments to Chef Warren's. A must place to dine if in Southern Pines.

Our evening was exceptional! We had the cured salmon appetizer followed by the burrata and arugula salad. For our entrees, we had the scallops, which was the evenings special and the pork schnitzel. Both were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we had the flour less white chocolate cake, which was out of this world.

Chef Warren's is without a doubt the finest in Moore county and one of the finest I have been to anywhere. Family run, friendly and outstanding menu expertly prepared in the open kitchen. Truly an exceptional culinary experience.

Wonderful dining experience. Excellent wine list and cheese platter outstanding. We had 5 diners and all raved about the lamb and grouper. Highly recommend for a fine dining evening!!

We have never had a bad meal or bad service. The food always tastes amazing. We always try new things & it is so worth it. The servers are wonderful. This is our favorite restaurant.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Chef Warren's. My wife and I opted to order most of the items off the tapas menu and it was excellent. The kangaroo loin and tiger shrimp were particularly good and the special that night of mushroom toast and mussels was delicious. 10/10 will return.

The food and service were excellent! Melissa made us feel like "regulars" and she was delightful! We do not live in the area but will definitely become regulars when back in the sandhills area. My amberjack was off the chain and my husband's trout was delicious!

It was a very lovely fine dining experience! My husband, I and visiting relatives enjoyed our meals. Staff were friendly and welcoming! Seating in the restaurant was comfortable and allowed good conversation with each other. We had been to Chef Warren’s before and it was a pleasure to bring my brother and his wife to enjoy a fine dining experience!

What a great dinner had by all! 8 hungry golfers: a few in from China … were thoroughly thrilled by Chef Warren last evening. Inspiring continental cuisine was on the menu. Everyone left with full and content stomachs after a beautiful day golfing in the Sandhills. Mary Ann & Warren - Thank You for providing a hands down spectacular venue to bring and delight our customers and suppliers.

I’ve been coming here since I was in college 20 years ago, and Chef Warrens is still our go to spot when we’re in town. The meal is always excellent and the service is wonderful. They also select great wines to put on their menu. The steak with fries is always my favorite, but you couldn’t get a bad meal here. Perfect for special occasions, date nights, or family dinners!

The “special” tonight was to be 2 beef medallions with very special potatoes. For $68.00 What I received was 2 non tenderloin pieces of beef somewhat very mediocre and a 1” wedge of typical scalloped potatoes, oh and 3 string beans and a small carrot. For $68 I figure the profit was at least $55 on this meal. Never again!! Will I select the special. Chef Warrens you should be ashamed to serve this type of meal and charge this price. Maybe the Chef’s has been around to long!!

The food and the service were outstanding at Chef Warren. There were some different offerings as appetizers which was a pleasant change. The place is smallish, quaint, and the staff obviously love their work. Our waitress was pleasant, personable and relaxed. Wine was poured from the bottle at the table side and the food was excellent. We will be returning.
