Food is amazing. Happy hour is beyond reasonable. Wine selection fantastic. Service impeccable. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy our dinner with our 5 month old

Our 35-day steak was delicious - highlight of the dinner. Other standouts were the apps (ahi tuna, stone crab claws, lamb ribs). Our server was great but the team did not do a good job of clearing drink glasses - we were a table of 4 and needed every inch of space. Otherwise great dinner as expected.

It was a birthday experience and overall it was nice. I think we were expecting a bit more for a romantic birthday reservation. It didn’t really feel like we were treated for a special occasion

We have been to Charcoal many times before and this was probably the least favorable experience for us from a service perspective. We saw our server 3 times, to take our order, and give use the bill/ come back and swipe our credit card. There were many people that kept walking by our table and just kept staring out our empty plates. It was probably 10 minutes after we were done eating before someone cleaned the table or came to check on us. Mind you, our server walked by our table multiple times and we weren’t able to flag her down. Even the table next to us was a little frustrated because it was her bday and she asked for dessert 3 different times and the server handed them the bill. They spoke up and mentioned they asked for dessert number of times and they were finally able to order it.

Location is not the best but we enjoyed all the meals we ordered and the service. Good value considering other Citrin restaurants.
