First experience that wasn’t favorable. Reservation was for 645 and didn’t get served our meal until 8pm. Table next to us actually walked out 10 minutes prior to being served because I didn’t wanna wait any longer and arrived when we did. They offered to pay the bill for their wine etc. and the restaurant had comped them for the inconvenience. We were not comped, and when our meal actually did show up half of it was cold inside. I kept my comments to myself because it was Mother’s Day, and my wife was really looking forward to this. I have been here 12 to 15 times and usually it’s very good. The waiter did what he could keeping us updated and did a good job but unfortunately it’s a team effort for everyone’s experience to go well or not

This was my third time dining at Chapel Grille over about 5 years. The first two were fantastic, which is why I booked a Mother’s Day dinner reservation this weekend. While the server was very polite and personable, it took well over an hour to get our meals. She sporadically stopped by our table, and usually only when we could get her attention. If we asked for anything, it was at least 15 min before it would arrive. My meal, Filet Mignon, came out as an end piece and was completely raw in the middle. So much so that it could not be cut with a steak knife. I ordered it med rare and it was beyond rare. Unfortunately, I sent it back and when it came back, it was exactly the same. So much so, that I do not think they even put it back in the grill. They did remove the meal from our bill, however. We counted 7 tables within our hearing distance that were complaining about the service and the food and the time it took to get service. We were clearly not the only ones happy this evening. It is extremely unfortunate, being Mother’s Day and it completely ruined our evening, as clearly many others. Because of this, we will never return to Chapel Grille for dining.

Chapel Grille has a good entree selection, but pricey. We were there for Mother's Day, with a reservation made a few months ago. It was very busy and service time was understandably long. The staff was working very hard, but were still accommodating. Food was good and was able to make some substitutions, even though the menu indicated no substitutions for Mother's Day. Overall, Chapel Grille is a good high end selection choice, but would avoid it for a holiday celebration, especially if service is important for the dining experience.

I know that restaurants re entitled to their “off days” but this past visit for Mother’s Day was unacceptable. The restaurant appeared to be over-booked and understaffed. Dinner reservations were for 4:15, we were not seated until 5:30pm. Upon sitting at our table, the waitress notified us that the kitchen was requesting that the tables entire order be put in all at once to keep things timely. So after we ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees we waited, and waited and waited. Drinks took about 20 minutes, appetizers took about a half hour. After finishing the appetizers and first round of drinks somewhere around 6:30pm, we waited until after 7:30pm for the entrees to arrive. The entrees that arrived to the table were cold while our son’s pizza took another 10-15 minutes. Once we wrapped up the meal and paid, it was after 8:30pm. The waitress had a positive attitude and was a delight to have, but you could tell she was worn from fielding angry feedback from other diners. We dine at Chapel Grille for many of our special occasions, including Morher’s and Father’s Day. This is the first time we’ve ever experienced such a disorganized experience.

The service was wonderful, we felt very appreciated and taken care of. The food however was awful, poor quality ingredients, poorly cooked and lacking in all flavor.

It’s a beautiful place and they crammed everyone on the deck. Would much rather have sat in the building. Table and chairs small and uncomfortable. The waitress was very attentive and nice. Food was just ok. Overall it was disappointing!
