Take elevator to 1st floor, go to courtyard and Cena is on the left.

Average ambience. Welcoming and friendly staff. Service was a little slow when the restaurant was full but got better once people at a big table left. Bread service and appetizers were great. Entries were bad !! Would not visit again or recommend to someone else

Cena is an absolute gem. The combination of attentive service, exquisite cocktails, perfectly prepared entrees and proximity to Stageworks Theater make Cena our go-to restaurant! Highly recommend the fried eggplant appetizer, the 8oz steak, and the authentic Bolognese pasta sauce. Molto molto bene!

We were visiting for the weekend, looking for Italian food and this place came highly recommended. We had the eggplant appetizer, baby kale caesar, meatballs, oxtail gnocchi and d squid pasta- all were amazing and looking forward to eating here on our Tampa trip next year!

Once again this was a very enjoyable meal with very good service. Perhaps minor, the quality of the bread service ($12) was notably below past standards and disappointing.

The branzini is delicious; I would definitely recommend. I usually get the bolognese dish and that is excellent too. We alsways enjoy coming to this restaurant. The service is top notch too.

Even though the restaurant on a Wednesday evening was not too busy, the ambience was very nice. Our server was both timely and efficient. The Oxtail was delicious, as was the Tiramisu. My husband ordered the Venison Steak which he found too sinewy, a disappointment for a $40 entree. Overall we enjoyed our dinner experience at Cena and plan on returning, my husband hopes to try the meatballs next time.

Always a unique menu. Excellent food, nicely plated. Try the crispy eggplant appetizer, a gastronomic delight. The branzini was beautifully flavored. Do not leave without tasting the tiramisu-OMG!

We were pleasantly surprised by our choice. We were in a rush to attend a concert, and still wanted a "better than average" meal beforehand. CENA more than fit the bill. The waiter Jorge was very attentive to your 60 minute "in and out" deadline and made sure we were out in time. Once the salad and pasta came...we were sad that we could not linger over some wine and dessert. Will be back...with friends.

We love visiting Cena. The food is great, the servers are friendly, and chef Michael adds a personal touch coming out to say hello.

Very disappointed on the meal. Had chicken in the caesar which didnt mention chicken in it, meatballs tasted off not sure if going bad or just bad seasoning, risotto was just ok. Also the rose was not very fresh. Overall disappointed experience

Everything was good. The burrata salad was fresh. The meatballs were great (they were featured in beat Bobby flay and won), but the sauce and pasta they came with were average, nothing outstanding. The truffle pasta was very good but also very very rich. If we went again and wanted it, we’d probably share it. Portions are in general large. The service was incredibly slow and inattentive. Took 40 mins to get our entrees on a Sunday evening where there were only 4 other tables. We would’ve ordered dessert but it took so long for our server to come back we decided not to because we were afraid we’d be late to our show that evening. Overall fairly average dinner.

Accommodated a large group, service was excellent and all the dishes we had were amazing, especially the crispy eggplant and Bronzini. I’ve been here several times and they keep delivering great experiences.

If you are sitting outside be prepared for a lot of noise and you are sitting in a dog park. A lot of people with there dog’s and non stop barking. Food was good, wine menu constructed and overpriced. Tried it, won’t be back. Value vs experience is low.

The food was good, but not great. The service was bad, but not terrible. The food was expensive, the drinks were exorbitant. There are much better places to spend your money.

The food was amazing! There were four of us and we all sampled one another’s plates. We were all blown away by the food. All delicious. Our server was friendly, funny, and patient.

The food and service at Cena is amazing! I had to try the meatballs that beat Bobby Flay and they did not disappoint. My husband got the bronzino which looked amazing. He loved the warm salad it was served with. We were seated right by the door in a high traffic area but everything was still great!

I saw the chef on "Beat Bobby Flay" which the chef of CENA did. The majority of chefs who try on Bobby's show fail the beat him. I reviewed the CENA website. Liked the menu and since we had friends coming for a visit I thought let's give CENA a try. We all enjoyed the food and even asked for a couple of the meatballs!

The food was very good but not great. The octopus salad first course was excellent and a creative dish. the pasta course of meatball and spaghetti was over sauced and watery. The meatballs stood up well to reputation and by themselves were delicious. The service was not good at all - inattentive at best. A trip to the restroom found no toilet paper and when a staff member was asked about replenishment they said - you can use the hand towels in there.

Service was good, however food was just okay. We got the seafood risotto and the braised short rib risotto and both left a lot to be desired and prices were very high for the portions. I probably wouldn’t go back! That being said, wine was great and Jorge was a very good server!

Excellence in food, service and setting. Flor always takes excellent care of us. And the risottos are consistently excellent. We enjoy the kale salad as well.

This was our first time eating dinner at Cena. First, we shared the baby kale caesar salad which had good flavor but was hard to eat with the baby kale and the chickpeas and croutons had no crunch. For main meals, we got the half-sized shrimp and scallop risotto (perfect size for one) and rustic bolognese which were both amazing. Our main meals were super tasty and our waiter made sure to keep our water filled the whole time but overall the service was slow.
