Catch Kitchen + Bar offers an upscale casual dining experience. Located on the second floor of Bayview Pier at Fisherman wharf in Steveston village. Our recently renovated waterfront restaurant offers the best view of Steveston’s historic harbor, we are perfectly situated to catch all the brilliant sunsets and our roof top patio features a magical 270-degree panoramic view of the rivers inlet. With ample indoor seating and a large bar area providing great vantage points for enjoying views of the water, Catch Kitchen + Bar is the perfect spot for intimate dinners and celebrations. Our fun, fresh and upscale casual concept will appeal to any appetite. The décor is bright and modern, serving as the perfect backdrop for both views and fresh locally inspired dishes. Ordered my usual prawn & scallop linguine. Disappointed. Usually served hot. Seafood was overcooked! Linguine was barely warm.

Rebecca was a knowledgeable, personable server. Food (fish & chips) was excellent. Location was convenient and picturesque. I would eat here again.

It was our first time to catch! The view is incredible! The food was great! 3/4 meals were quite hot. Restaurant was quite dead but the service was horrible tonight. Our server was nice but we barely saw her. We sat for 20 min before we even got to order drinks. Food took forever. We were done our meal before our second drink came. Service needs to be better. Would not recommend unless you have nothing but time. Our server didn’t deserve a tip but we gave it to her anyways. Do better. We came tonight Monday 13th. Sat in the corner by the window.

Went there for happy hour to celebrate 4 friends birthdays. Our waiter was fantastic, the food delicious and we all enjoyed the wonderful view.

Value on food was average, we ordered Calamari, Claim & Mussels, & portion was small even for one person, taste was below par. My house wine was not cold & more like room temperature... Overall the ambience was satisfactory.

I love taking my friends and family from out of town, and even from close by, to Catch. It has great food,service, and a lovely view of the Steveston Harbour.

This is a fantastic place to take out of town guests. I recommend going about half an hour before sunset and getting a view table. The sun will come down (into your eyes) but they have shades and the views are some of the best in the city. Plus, Steveston Village is so quaint and a great place to wander around before dinner. Catch is unpretentious but has great food. The views are on the restaurant side but the pub side is also fantastic. Great crab cakes, fish and chips, chicken wings, beer options. Highly recommend.

Our meals took too long cause lack of cooks. The food wasn't worth the wait. No taste in all our dishes except the kid meal my son ordered (chicken fingers). Not a repeat place for us. Was way better when it was Charthouse. Our waiter was good though.

Excellent food and lovely spot. Service was good but two different servers gave us 2 different answers on what the soup of the day was and one neglected to tell us at all about a daily feature.

Used to be our go to dinner place when in Richmond. It seems the portions of seafood have suffered and at least a little garlic in the Caesar salad might help with the flavour of it.

It’s always a pleasure to visit The Catch. Good tasty food, well presented with just the correct level of service (hate multiple visits to our table asking how the food is at some restaurants) Obviously the view is second to none but at 7pm it doesn’t do it for the obvious reason. No doubt we will return soon

Everyone were super friendly. Food came out fast, they have a great happy hour, great options and tasty tasty tasty. Overall all the views from the restaurant are so nice. It’s our second time there and we’ll be back (:

Had the miso glazed black cod and was quite disappointed. The fish itself was not bad, but everything else looked like there was no effort that was put in. The chef seemed to have just slap a few carrots and bok choys, so the plate would not have looked so empty. My friend who got the same thing agreed. We both felt that had the dish been a homemade dish, it would have been very impressive, but it was made at a restaurant priced at $32 each - not worth any penny. The only thing decent was the view. I did enjoy the gimlet cocktail, though.

Food was excellent as always. Service was extremely slow. I had a feeling there were staffing issues. The restaurant was quite full but noticed only three or four servers. They did the best they could.

valentine's day dinner with family...but it was also ASH wednesday so we were unable to order any meat or poultry. fish and chips was good...smaller portion than before though :)

The Catch has fantastic views and very good food and value in today's market. It's family friendly and an enjoyable outing for couples and friends. The separate bar area is also a great place to gather with friends or a slightly more casual time. You know it's a good spot because many locals are repeat customers.

It was our first time here. We attended the Dine In Vancouver It was a great experience, the service was great ! Our waitress Rebeca was fantastic - very very friendly and super fast service. And the food …. Wow so flavourful! Worth the drive from the Valley .
