It is worth noting that on Fridays there is only a buffet for $80/person. No a la carte menu ordering. This was a huge surprise to our group that had food allergies, as well as vegetarians. There was a TON of shellfish but sadly, I am very allergic and I had hoped I could find things that were safe. I asked a server if any of the salads contained shellfish and she assured me they did not. Sadly, nothing was labeled and the Caesar salad was full of king crab, which I discovered as I was eating it. I had an allergic reaction from being inside, around the very steaming platters of crab, shrimp and lobster. It was pretty scary and I decided that I would rather not eat anything. The staff was very apologetic and did not charge me for my dinner but my entire party was pretty rattled. I would say to definitely NOT eat here if it is a buffet and you have food restrictions. We have eaten enjoyed this restaurant in the past and have had lovely experiences. I asked the manager to please include cards with ingredients, going forward.

We are not one for buffets, but made the exception for this one. They did not disappoint. We enjoyed the food. Great variety.

Loved our stay at Terranea. Unfortunately, Catalina Kitchen does not represent Terranea, at all. The server was charming but couldn’t fill the void of the food nor the incongruence of the service team.

The restaurant was not very busy. My daughter and I ordered the breakfast buffet. Most of the buffet items were empty, and we had to wait for refills. Oddly, there was no omelet bar, which is pretty customary at breakfast buffets. My wife ordered scrambled egg whites off the menu. 45 minutes after they seated us, I finally received the Bloody Mary I had ordered, and my wife received her egg whites. Service was dreadfully slow and not very attentive.

I have eaten here before (outside) and my experience was more positive. This time though it was pretty awful. We waited an inordinate amount of time for any food to come including the complimentary bread that the waitress promised us. They got our sparkling water order wrong, brought our entrees after about an hour but had forgotten the appetizers and salad. They offered to send the entrees back and bring the salad out which they did but forgot plates. After all of that, the food (salmon, caesar salad, burger) really was not very good. The ambience inside was not great either- really loud. To top it off, someone who appeared to a manager swung by to quickly ask how everything was.....we gave him a "so-so" and he just buzzed right on.

What a great experience! Prime rib was amazing. Oyster and seafood bar was excellent. Our server Juan was outstanding!!! He was so attentive to my wife and kids, and that’s what really matters!!! Thank you so much Juan!! Best brunch in So Cal !!!

Food was fresh including the meat station, seafood was cold and taste was spot on. Only thing was our table. Had us right next to a main walkway and buffet table. My son was bumped in to all the time and you couldn’t get 2 people behind him, people had to wait to pass. Besides that, great Buffett as always.
