Cascades, un restaurant-steakhouse américain classique, se situe au sein du Stanley Hotel, fondé il y a 103 ans. Dégustez le déjeuner, le dîner ou le souper dans la salle à manger ou installez-vous dans le lounge et laissez-vous tenter par un cocktail classique fait à la main par l'un des barmen. Le menu propose du bœuf certifié Angus, des fruits de mer frais, des sandwichs, des pâtes et des spécialités du Colorado. Le chef a conçu le menu pour rendre hommage à la cuisine locale, tout en intégrant des plats américains populaires. Le restaurant essaie dans la mesure du possible d'acheter les produits aux fermes locales. Cascades propose également des gelati, des desserts et des crèmes brûlées faits maison. From the front gate, make the first right, then wind up around the Lodge to the parking area behind the Main Hotel and through the gates and go down the stairs or pathway through the gardens and past the waterfall and pond and across the patio to the double doors, then turn to your right in the lobby to meet the hostess outside the restaurant.

The service was excellent, and the ambience was delightful. We had the meatloaf which was a combination of Elk, Bison, Angus and Wild Boar. It was some of the best meatloaf I’ve ever had, or have ever made myself. I would definitely recommend the meatloaf.

Everything was great from the host through the wait staff! We had the lamb lollies, tenderloin flight and the salmon which were all terrific. Topping it off was the cheesecake with a whiskey cherry sauce-absolutely delicious! We'll be back!

Excellent overall experience. Great wait staff and food. A few items were overpriced at $200 but overall we enjoyed the experience.

I hardly write negative reviews…however this attempted dinner was horrible. $10 just to pull in to park for dinner, service staff rude, old run down, with reservation we were seated in the bar not dining room, wait staff laissezfaire leaning on tables to take order, young bartenders grouped on their phones, music some headache music,. Patrons sweatshirt at the bar getting drunk, Please note drinks are at least $20 and a filet Allacarte is $65. After waiting for our $20 shrimp cocktail for 30 minutes I had had enough…. Looking forward to a nice, upscale place to eat ….not here! Our opinion backed up next day by our tour saying that is the option of most, trying to just cash in on The Shining. We have eaten a multiple upscale restaurants, this is more like a bar with $150 per person price. Avoid disappointment, eat in town.

We had a very nice experience! The lamb appetizer was outstanding. I personally felt the burrata salad was overdressed and my duck slight dry or overcooked, outside of that, the service was perfect and the ambiance was worth the trip to The Stanley!

Second visit 20 years apart but still just as great. The food was fantastic and service was perfect.

Always thought it would be a wonderful meal. It was not - no flavor, needed salt and seasoning. Overpriced meal that I wish I could stop payment on. Don't bother going to this restaurant. Try any other in Estes Park. Not worth the money and I've traveled from Europe to Alaska and all of USA - not worth the reservation or the time. We had the bisen steak and the 1/2 chicken with potatoes. Never again.

Great atmosphere and even better food! Bison burgers are great. Great service. Beer and wine selection superb. Great way to finish a day hiking in the area with lunch or dinner at Cascades. I’ll be back.

Omfg the wagyu steak is a religious experience. Skip the bourbon signature drink as is swap in 18 yr Jameson. Slam dunk
