This intimate, small restaurant has the spirit and the charm you would find on Italy and other countries off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Branzino is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta, try our Linguine Fruti di Mare with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes.

The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.

Not certain where to begin, but I guess that I’ll start with the fact that the host reseated the two guests at the table next to us and didn’t change the napkins, or flatware prior to seating the next guests, , it was downhill from there. The noise level in the restaurant was excruciating, I understand that it was busy with a convention, but it was truly uncomfortable and made us want to get out as quickly as possible, which was a good thing because I don’t believe that there is any way that the waitstaff could have been more inattentive. We were served water but the waiter didn’t ask us if we wanted anything to drink besides water, other than asking if we wanted the wine menu. He asked what we wanted, never asking about appetizers or salads, kind of grunted when we gave him the order. He left, never to be seen again, until it was time for our bill. No bread, no appetizers, no salad, just a runner delivering our entree. We had to flag down someone for Parmesan. The whole dining ‘experience’ took 35 minutes from sit down to bill paid (not much of a tip either, and I’m normally one to OVER TIP). The food was good, but the whole thing was a horrible experience, with ALL of the dining options in Vegas and the Venetian, this is one to miss!

Very slow service and only one other table in the restaurant. Food was just ok. Menu prices online don’t reflect the actual price as a lot more expensive, kids menu online but no kids menu at the restaurant. Management know but are not doing anything about it. I do not recommend nor will I be returning. So many other amazing restaurants. Avoid this one.

Food was horrible. Waiters kept staring at you through the greenery. Never have had salmon with the skin in the middle. Not worth the money and the menu online does not match the menu there. Got the platter with the meats and cheeses. 2 hunks of unidentifiable cheese, the other 2 hunks were Parmesan. They piled the artichokes out of a can on top and the olives were swimming in oil.

Great service, very good food, decent prices for Vegas. A little hard to locate in the Venetian and close to the food court so a bit noisy. Overall, a good experience.

Our waiter nailed the recommendations! He was spot on and could cater to our flavor needs be we decided to stick to the way the cioppino was made and it did not disappoint! 🔥

The food was amazing and a tremendous value for 10 people at ISC West. The food took a while to come out, but it was busy and definitely worth the wait.

Although the host spent more time flirting with a female picking up a carryout order than seating the guests in line that had reservations, one we were finally seated the server and the food made up for the rocky start. We food and the service was very good and the pasta recommendations were a total hit. I would absolutely go back again!

Cassanovas was a very nice dinner at an affordable price for Las Vegas. Service was very good and timely. We had a nice table overlooking the canal. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable casual dinner experience.

Very nice all around, food and service were great. Surprisingly easier to get a 6p reservation than other sit-down restaurants at the Venetian.

Wanted a nice quiet place for an Italian meal. Reservations were made with ease on Open Table. Waiter attentive and made choice selections when requested. Food was really good! Great servings! Best meal I’ve had so far in Las Vegas!

If you are looking for Italian food on The Strip, I would suggest this restaurant. It is reasonably priced for food in the area and everyone liked their meal.

Always a great time here. This is a must when visiting Las Vegas. Roy is the best server and always gives excellent service.

This restaurant is located in the shops at the Venetian. Nice little small Italian restaurant. Pasta was good steaks were good. Very noisy if you were trying to have a quiet laid-back dinner. But as expected for this type of restaurant in Las Vegas. Friendly service.

The associates were just average, not attentive and I could only imagine if they were really busy. I would not recommend the Chicken Parmigiana, the chicken was dry with no flavor.

The appetizer of meatballs was very good. Recommend you ask for Parmesan cheese to put over makes a nice difference. The lobster pasta meal that we had was enough to share and tasted really good It was our first time eating in the restaurant and we were happy with our choice. Definitely recommend 🙌👍

I came to dine at this restaurant for Valentine’s Day, however upon arrival it seemed more like a place to stop and eat for convenience rather than a dining destination. The dining space was small with multiple tables crowded together and the lack of space became more apparent when the wait staff kept bumping into our table. Overall the food and service were good, despite it being very busy, but the dining room was also unpleasantly loud which again dimmed the whole experience. I think if you’re a solo business traveler this place might be nice but if you’re on a date night I would recommend elsewhere.

Four of us dined. The only entree that was great was the rigatoni bolongese. The rest were very mediocre. Service was great. Atmosphere was energetic. Would not go back. Would not recommend.

We had a great meal, including a gluten free pasta meal that was excellent, which is tricky for pasta. The service was great and we really enjoyed it. It was a great location for a pre-show meal and we could walk right to the entrance to the walkover for Sphere. Everyone really loved their food. The background noise was loud, and for food this good, it would have been nice to have a little bit more atmosphere, but we were seated in the entrance area so perhaps it is more conducive to conversation inside. Regardless, we will be back. Yummy food, great service!

Took guest from Thailand with two young girls. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Great red wine advise from our server. I had two steak meals during my visit in different locations. But the Ribeye that night was by far the best. I left happy as did my guests

Excellent food, the pizza is amazing and pasta! Our surver was pretty busy so the bus boy took care of us. Took a bit for food but worth the wait! So delicious and we will be back next time we are in Vegas!

Delicious dinner with excellent service. We enjoyed the ahi tuna appetizer, and my lobster ravioli was incredible. Their wine list is not extensive, but we splurged on a Justin Isosceles and it was outstanding as usual. I would definitely go back.

Made a reservation for a large party on a busy Saturday night and they accommodated, which was great. The food presentation was nice, but flavor was lacking for entire party. Calamari was wonderful, but main courses left much to be desired, especially at the price point.

The location is extremely difficult to find. The hostess was unhelpful and disinterested in any customer services. The food was barely passable. The vegetables were old, discolored and sour. The meats were dry and the pasta clearly reheated. I would not recommend the restaurant.

Book based on the description online, expected views of gondolas going by was basically in the food court. menu listed online different than in restaurant They had no kids menu even though online clearly showed one. Wanted our check split in two families was made to feel as if this was a huge inconvenience and that they don’t like to split a check. We always order for our kids and make it easy for any server to organize our checks. Forgot kids drinks asked twice. We weren’t charged. Overall disappointing location and ambiance. Wont go back.

Unfortunately the restaurant had no bar service. The waiter said normally they do, but for the night we were there the bar was closed. They were able to serve wine, but that was all. Too bad, because we came to Las Vegas to party and this was disappointing. Next time I will ask before being seated whether their bar is open. The food, however, is very good. We ate pasta and pizza. One of us had steak, but it was too thin of a cut. It was the birthday of one of the people in our party, and the restaurant provided a very nice dessert with 6 spoons for all of us. We can’t recommend the restaurant because of the bartender situation.

Felt like an overflow for other full restaurants in the complex. Food was very basic, wine list was even more basic, and service was essentially just a series of annoyed grunts. Nothing terrible, just not the choice if there is space literally anywhere else.
