Very crowded but fun. The plates are huge, for us (5), we ordered the spaghetti a la vodka and 1/3 was left. It was very noisy, because it’s more of a family restaurant. Nice place overall. Definitely has an authentic atmosphere

This was perfect for our family of 9! The food was so good! The Caprese salad was 10/10!! The chicken Parmesan was also delicious!

We had the best experience! The food was over the top good. The service was just as good. So glad she started our trip with a meal at Carmine’s.

Un restaurante familiar al que debes estar preparado para comer a gusto. Todo es exquisito y sobre todo la atención del personal. Para celebrar o para una reunión de negocios es ideal. Siempre recordar la reserva previa. Es mejor.

Great restaurant to eat before watching a Broadway show. Location was great. We ate at the bar and our bartender was fantastic! We ordered the seafood pasta and shrimp dish. Both was excellent and portions were massive.

The food was great, fresh and large portions, my guests and I were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. Everything was delivered in perfect timing, our server seemed to be well versed on time management. The ambiance was great , felt like being at a dining table in the middle of my parent’s dinning room. The drink I ordered was okay but my mother really enjoyed her strawberry spumante and my son loved the ice cream dessert thank goodness the server told us about the half portion options! Overall great experience, we will be back :)

I was a little dissappointed! When I made our reservation I indicated that we were celebrating a special occasion. One, this was our first time ever to New York and two, we were celebrating being friends for over 50 years. There was a couple celebrating an anniversary and they got champange and another lady was celebrating a birthday and she got two scoops of ice cream. We got nothing! The food was delicious but for just two people it was way too much food. And yes, we were aware of the "family-style" servings. A friend had suggested your restaurant and said we had to try it but warned it would be a lot of food.

Our reservation was honored on time. Our server, Jonathan, was outstanding. Despite having dined there before, he took time to make suggestions and review the lay of the land. The food was, as always, plentiful and tasty. The drinks were very good. Baked clams and veal Marsala were exceptional. The rigatoni bolognese was a tad salty and more like a meat sauce than bolognese but it was good. The tiramisu was good but not great. Still, the experience and meal were delightful and a great way to spend Mother’s Day.

My Mother’s Day dinner!!! I’m from NJ and Carmines is a favorite when in NYC. The service was great, they handed roses to all the Mothers. I had the frozen berry cosmo which was amazing! We had our staple dish shrimp Parm with pasta which was cooked to perfection!

Very good experience…I stopped by recently and truly enjoyed myself. The food was good and although its always crowded the service is prompt. Johnathan was our server and he was extremely attentive and pleasant.

At this point, Carmine feels like home to me. The food is consistent and very good. Even though you are right off of Times Square, it feels cozy because of the old fashioned decor and lots if it (don’t ever change!).

Love Carmine’s. Always a solid good experience for us but it is definitely very noisy. We love the food so we just deal with the noise. I think if they lowered the music it would be better.

The food was amazing and the serving sizes were HUGE. We were there before a matinee and our waitress DeAndra was so sweet, professional and accommodating. She knew we were on a timeline and went above and beyond to be sure we were done on time to make our show!

Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.

Carmine's second floor offers private and semi private dining; with a mahogany bar, coatcheck and handicap access. The room seats up to 200 guests with expansive windows reflecting the excitement of Times Square. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi private dining for smaller groups.
