It was my first time at Carlo and Johnny as we normally frequent the precinct. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday and just had the best experience. The ambience and esthetics were perfect for a date nate. Our server Paul was phenomenal - he was thorough in his suggestions, asking questions along the way to ensure we aligned. The food is always great at any Jeff Ruby establishment, but this time was even better. Thank you Paul, and Carlo & Johnny for such a wonderful night.

Our favorite restaurant in greater Cincinnati. Food, service, and ambience are incredible. Our waiter, James was super friendly and took amazing care of us. This was our wedding anniversary and Carlo & Johnny made it amazing.

What a fabulous Mother's Day meal! The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. The oyster were very fresh, East & West, the Herbstreit roll was excellent, the Wagyu Meatball needs to be shared by 4 people if you plan on eating anymore food, the Tuna Tartare was amazing and very creative by being wrapped in an avocado which was so good in and of itself. One individual got the crab bisque and used all the bread we had left for cleaning the bowl. Oh, and the bread and butter is fantastic on its own! Several people got Lobster, one with steak, and there were no complaints, just doggie bags... The Steak Burrow is good, not great, was not blackened enough nor did it truly have the Cajun spice, but the steak itself was one of the best strips I have ever eaten. The butter & carrot cake are very good, but only order one after this meal, no matter how many people are in your party since they are massive! Our water - Paul - knew the menu to a T and made the evening even better with his personality...

We had another impeccable experience at Carlo and Johnny. The waiters/waitresses and assistants are always professional and polished. The food is always hot and fresh. We never feel rushed and we always enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you Carlo and Johnny for making my Mother’s Day dinner fantastic!

We came in to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and the moment we walked in, we felt like royalty. They gave us a complimentary photo w C & J paper frame, personalized menus, everyone stopped to say “Happy Birthday!” The team made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant - Keegan, Evan, Brent and Adrian. They went above and beyond and my boyfriend felt special - it was amazing! Start to finish, it was 5 stars!

Far too expensive for the overall quality of the meal. Salad was very good. Lobster was good. Steak was marginal, a bit over cooked. Baked potato was okay (hard to ruin a baked potato) asparagus and mushrooms were as anticipated. The issue was the price. We knew this going in of course but it was a special occasion. The message here is that there are many places nearby which offer the same food for less than half of what we paid.

Our server Jim was outstanding. He told us the history of the building. The entire team was extremely attentive. The GM Ashley stopped by our table and was very nice. We could not had a better experience for my wife’s birthday. Everything was superb.

Amazing food. Sushi and Tuna Tartar are amazing. The new Tomato Panzanella salad and Wild Mushroom Tagilatelle pasta are great additions to an already awesome menu. Plus the staff always take great care of us. Our server Kirk and his assistants Kyle and Chris were total professionals.

Chris is a kind and talented server. He was so perceptive and had just the right approach, even when my husband was being difficult. He is a major asset to your team. Everything was delicious! The bread, my filet, my daughter’s rack of lamb, and my husband’s chicken parm, the Mac & cheese, everything!! The chicken parm was giant, and not a single bad bite.
