For Mom's special day, Chef Gerard Bozoghlian will feature his emblematic Menu Intimo Prix-Fixe menu and his large format, family-style Menu Patagonico, featuring his signature "Tapa Entera", whole ribcap, for parties of 5 or more. Wonderful staff. Attention to detail at its finest. The food was superb. The Ojo de Bife was perfect, as were the empanadas. We were made to feel not only special, but staff was patient and attentive. The locale is cozy, nicely lit and the Tango music was enjoyable. Great ambiance, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a super special night out.

I had the skirt steak and fries, their most famous dish for 27 years! The steak was so tender and intensely flavorful! Pleasant and knowledgeable staff!!

We reserved the private patio for a birthday dinner. Since the very first moment Gerard (Chef/Owner) started communication to curate an adequate menu for our party. Once there, everything went smooth, Gerard lead the service himself explaining every little detail about the wine and food being served. Food was delicious and the experience overall, perfect. We’ll be back soon.

This is, hands down, the best steak you will ever have. The skirt steak is a staple, but the top cap is also amazing. The house-made potato gnocchi is a treat, as well as the scallops and the steak tartare. Nothing on the menu will disappoint

Steaks used to be wonderful but not this time. Not much flavor and tough. The sides and salads were small except for the fries. The place is fun. I have been going there for years but maybe things will improve next time. The chicken breast was awful.

I went last night to celebrate my birthday with my family. We are feom the Los Angeles area. As always, the ambiance was perfect, the host, our server Fabio, Chef, Sommelier and all staff were very courteous and professional. From the traditional papas fritas provenzal and De La Casa salad, to the mouth-watering filet mignon, tapa de ojo and milanesa Brandoni all cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, the most wonderful creamed spinach and super tasty potato pureé, we were very impressed. We ended our dinner with a spectacular postre Gardel and caramelized panqueques with dulce de leche. The musician who plays great classics on the accordeon makes the experience even more special. We were seated inside the formal dining area. There is also a very nicely decorated enclosed patio with entry from the back alley. To summarize, it was a very elevated dinner experience.

It has been a while since visiting Carlitos Gardel, went there for a friends birthday dinner. It is as great as ever. The staff and service is so welcoming and warm. The recommendations are spot on and the food is tasty and satisfying. Max and his team do a great job from start to finish. We had steak, lamb chops and gnocchi, all fabulous. The space is cozy with a quiet and warm ambience. Great for a friends get together or a romantic dinner.

I hadn't been there since it was Gardel's in the 80's. It was much more upscale. The food and the service were excellent. I'd strongly recommend the churrasco.

Carlitos Gardel is always a personalized elevated experience. We don’t go there expecting bargain prices we go there for excellence that is worth every penny. We didn’t save room for dessert but we ordered it anyway. Out of this world good.

Excellent choice for this special occasion dinner. The food is always delicious and on point. The service was outstanding. Beautiful table with a view of the street through the large front windows. Recommend going on the earlier side as it is quieter than when the restaurant fills out. Noise level gets very loud and it is less enjoyable. Overall I would highly recommend and we will go again, and again.

We had the gambas, the Entrana steak, the fries, the Churrasco steak, and the penne bolognese. Everything was excellent. The steaks were cooked to perfection - medium (Entrana) and medium rare (Churrasco). Wine selection was great too. Service and staff was attentive and knowledgeable. It's a little pricey but this is a great spot for quality food/service for a special occasion.

This place never disappoints. Everything was delicious. We had the scallops in a a leek beurre blanc, the heirloom tomato and burrata salad with prosciutto, and the spinach and ricottta gnocchi for appetizers, and all were A+. Two of us had their lamb rack chops, medium rare with a char on the outside, and it’s hard not to get these every time I come here. The ribeye steak with a Malbec and portobello reduction was reportedly very good, though the person who ordered it wasn’t sharing:). Carter our waiter provided excellent service. We’re already planning our next visit.

The service is amazing, great team of folks at the restaurant. The food is beyond words incredible! And wonderful with our kids and willing to make things for the pickiest of eaters. Highly recommended!

The service was outstanding. The overall restaurant vibe was quite interesting kind of in between high end Buenos Aires steak house and El Padrino movie setting ( in a good way). Wine list was extensive, trending on the pricey side. The sommelier did a fantastic job with the recommendations on our price range . Appetizers were suitable to share, and we had a hard time picking from the specials of the day vs regular menu as everything was tempting. One of the specials for appetizer - was seared scallops on a cream sauce - best ones I ever had! We asked for different cuts to share - different terms- and all came out to perfection- and our server even made it easy to share by doing some of the cutting himself , and did I say the service was outstanding ? It was my first time but definitely not the last.

This was our first time here, and based on the raving reviews, we had expected more. Perhaps part of our experience might have been different if we were not seated in the patio, but the patio was not it. Dinner was constantly interrupted by a Ring doorbell chime, which patrons must use to gain entry. The food was average, not bad but also not great (definitely not worth the cost). Service was also average, not necessarily bad but definitely nothing special. This place is worth trying once (maybe?).

Valentines day special menu is was kinda decent. First meal course was really good and it was a great way to start the night. Second course meal disappointed and we didn’t enjoyed it. Third course meal which it was the main entree was decent, the Rib-eye stake never fails. However, it came with garlic fries and mushrooms as a side and they were not good. I noticed a couple of guest that didn’t even touch the sides just like we did.

From start to finish our experience was amazing. Very organized and calculated which made everyone’s experience enjoyable. We didn’t have any issues but a table next to us did. The team went above and beyond to remedy that table which earned my respect as a customer. Thank you!

Wonderful ambiance and service. Came with family visiting from Italy, one of the staff spoke great Italian and was able to translate the menu.
