The Carillon is a New American restaurant featuring familiar food with a refined twist. The Carillon provides a sophisticated and approachable dining experience for all occasions. Our culinary team masterfully creates dishes with local, fresh, and seasonal produce and organic, grass-fed or free-range proteins. The Carillon offers ‘a la Carte’ or 3-course dinner for $45 tasting menu, which can be skillfully paired with award-winning wines.

I absolutely love this place! I have such great memories here. The food is amazing, and the waiters and staff are so kind. This place reminds me a lot of high end restaurants in San Francisco.

This was a very unique experience with pros and cons but overall a must try. The GM was extremely nice and knowledge about the menu, but we got a little overwhelmed because he went over every single menu item. The menu was insanely unique and some ingredients were growing in the window! Other than being a little overwhelmed, the only other con was the deafening silence, no music and we felt like we had to whisper. I’d say we came too casual for the setting which is why we felt that way, but if you come for a fancy occasion and bring a full appetite, this could be the best spot in town hands down. Overall loved the place but would come with a different expectation next time.

We recently had dinner at Carillon. The day of the reservation I got a call that the kitchen might be understaffed and that our wait time might be more than typical. I appreciated the call. What restaurant does that? When we were seated there was a bouquet at our table; the server said "Happy Anniversary!". But I hadn't noted on the reservation that it was our anniversary... After a little sleuthing the server explained we'd had an anniversary dinner at Carillon on the same date several years before, so they knew it was our anniversary. The service was gracious and timely (no delays we could detect) and the food was delicious. Our highest recommendation!

We both had a salad (each different), and the sea bass entree. The food was excllent. Salads were large, the greens fresh, and the dressing tasty. The sea bass was incredible. It was one of the largest servings that I have ever had in a restaurant, and the sauce was awesome. It had Thai flavor in my opinion, and I love Thai food. Service was attentive and excellent. The manager even came by to make sure that we were pleased. We went there before the theatre, and the wait person even asked if we had theatre plans. We make it to the theatre with plenty of time.

Absolutely love the whole experience and our waitress was absolutely amazing and helpful. Truly would go back. Pricing was also not back especially for the 3 for $45.

Carillon is always good. Not exceptional. Menu lacks the inventiveness of other fine dining and also the prices (it’s much more reasonable). We went at 6, earlier than usual and it was empty. Portions were very large. Service was excellent. I’d go again (early)—happy hour prices were really good.

Fabulous Easter Brunch and the venue was amazing because it’s not as busy as many places. The food was very good and even though we were in about the last seating the shrimp and oysters and all the other good things were still fresh and plentiful. Service was great

We enjoyed a fantastic Easter Brunch buffet. They had a great assortment of traditional breakfast staples, fresh seafood raw bar, salads, excellent soups, and delicious savory dishes, including vegetarian and pescatarian options. They had soooo many desserts, and they were all small portions so that you could try several without going too crazy. We will definitely go back!

This place is a hidden gem. I never see it mentioned when people ask about great restaurants. I've only been once before, many many years ago, and like that time, the experience was well worth the drive into town and the price, which is far from exorbitant. The food is top notch. The atmosphere is sedate and calming. It feels rich. The service was wonderful. The ONLY reason I took away a star is because they had several non-alcoholic wines listed on the menu, which absolutely THRILLED me. I've never seen them on a menu before and I was so happy to be able to order wine with my dinner for the very first time. They didn't have any of them. That was a major letdown for me. Maybe they didn't get enough people ordering it; I don't know. If that's the case, though, take it off the menu. Though I would much prefer it if seeing them on menus became the norm everywhere. Please put that back in your bar, Carillon!

The Carillon was excellent from start to finish! The staff was top-knotch, engaging, accommodating, and provided us white glove level service. The food was superb! That seared sea bass special and the beef carpaccio were my favorites. The ambience is ideal for dining with friends where you can actually hear yourselves talk and feel elegant. They still remain my favorite restaurant to attend before a show at Bass Concert Hall!

We had a lovely relaxed dinner prior to attending a production at Bass Concert Hall Menu and wine options were plentiful - the servings were bountiful Attention to detail was evident! Each of those we interacted with were polite, warm and knowledgeable - from the owner to the servers to the host! Out party has someone with food allergies and sensitivity and there were plenty of options and modifications that were easily made with no questions! We were impressed - we will be back!!!

We had a great experience at Carillon. Our server, was spot on. The F&B manager, I don’t recall his name, Checked on us and described all of the dishes before we ordered. The food was amazing! They have a $45 three course menu. It didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend this restaurant. We live in Austin and this is a hidden gem. They take reservations and they comp parking in the garage adjacent .

It started in the wrong way. I made a res for valentines, specifically because the menu had things that appealed to my partner and I. But, we showed up and there was a very limited fixed menu (that hadn’t been disclosed anywhere at any point ahead of time) that didn’t meet either of our dietary limitations for double the price. I went ahead and told them about my allergies, and, after telling me they didn’t use that ingredient in any of the dishes, proceeded to bring out a dish with my allergen inside. On top of it all, they forgot our drinks, and everyone came by and made super awkward conversation with us. The manager asked us “what are your jobs” as his hello, the waitress told us all about her life uninvited, and this was on Valentine’s Day. An insane experience.

I basically eat out every day - this place is a hidden gem as most ( like me) figured AT&T would be just normal hotel chain food - I have been here in the past but since they changed chefs and upgraded menu … its SO good and for 4 times in a row I’ve ordered the sea bass dish with a Tom Yum sauce they pour over the fish after serving - with various herbs ( basil/ mint ) etc - I’m not even a fish guy .. but I’m going out on a limb here with ballsy statement - BEST fish dish in Austin ( if you like Asian flare) went with 2 other couples last night and 4 ordered it and ALL were amazed - and all are foodies - anyway - highly recommend and if not … just more for me haha

The manager is delightful. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Nathan was our server and was excellent. The prices are insanely reasonable for the quality of food they serve. The building is gorgeous, and the location is perfect.

A wonderful restaurant and experience. But now I can’t have alcoholic beverages, would like to have more nonalcoholic options: mamarita, nojito, and alcohol free champagne for instance.

A hidden gem near campus, which is what I think keeps people from it. It's a shame, the prices for what you get are kind of mind blowing. The lamb in particular -- I held up the bone, and the meat fell right off, some of the best lamb I've had in this city.

Food was excellent, but experience was diminished but poor service. Wait person was woefully inexperienced. While taking dinner order asked if we wanted coffee with dessert. While still eating main course asked what we wanted for dessert - twice. Handed dessert menu while still eating main. With dessert, spilled coffee into saucer and instead of cleaning that up, said she could add more to the cup. Never came back to pour wine. It might sound picky, but this was way below prior excellent experience.
