They were excellent. My family and I arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and were seated promptly. The food was good and our server was very attentive.

We were early for our 12.30 reservatiom but were seated promptly. Ellis was our server and was she wa attentive, personable and professional and did an excellent job of pacing the meal and keeping our Iced Teas topped up. Deb likes the Hotsy Totsy Sandwich and had hers with the Sweet Potato tots. I had the Chopped Steak with Mashers and Brussel Sprouts sides. Both were presented well and very tasty. We finished with their home made Gelato, Deb with the Salted Caramel and me with the Spumoni. Another very enjoyable lunch at Camp Verde.

Camp Verde General Store is a great place to visit. The food is very good. The service is always outstanding. Shopping afterwards is fun too. The setting outside is beautiful and worth the drive.

Michelle, our waitress, was funny and responsive. The hotsy totsy sandwich was delicious. Shrimp etouffee was a little too spicy. Corn bread was good but would have been great warm. Love the outside patio and grounds.

I took a friend there to celebrate her birthday. She has never been there before. Absolutely loved both the restaurant and the General Store.

For breakfast, there were two additional small groups enjoying the large, beautiful room. The hostess seated us at the table next to the bar and kitchen, and there were overturned chairs next to us that had not been placed yet. One couple at the bar was talking loudly with the staff, competing with the overhead music. After about 15 minutes, we asked to be moved to a quieter area. We were asked to move all of our table items. When we ordered, there was no fruit, nor muffins, and only dark roast coffee available. My brother ordered ham; it was 2 slices of thinly-sliced lunch meat. The service otherwise was very good.

Wonderful food! Good service! Felt rushed to finish even though reservations were for 1 1/2 prior to closing. Restaurant closes at 5pm yet another party arriving prior to closing was informed the kitchen closed at 4pm.

First time eating here for lunch and we were not disappointed. Offer a variety of burgers and sandwiches along with a few salads. We will be back. The bread pudding was presented with a chocolate camel on top of whipped cream. A deliciously way to end the meal.

Ate outside on the beautiful patio. Grounds are very well maintained. Michell was a great waitress. Attentive and friendly. Panko crusted chicken was perfectly crispy. Always a great experience.

The day was so beautiful that we chose to be seated on the patio. Patty was our server. She is so sweet. She was very busy because she had a large group inside. Regardless she brought us huge disposable cups of tea and took our orders promptly. I chose the chicken fried chicken with Brussel sprouts and fried okra. The chicken was marvelous. The crust was tasty and crunchy. The chicken was the best. I'm sure it is soaked in buttermilk or some marinade. It was so soft and moist. The okra was nothing special. The Brussel sprouts were awesome with those crispy roast edges. Hubby had the Reuben sandwich with gigantic onion rings. Everything was delicious from his plate. We took home half our lunches and a slice of coconut cream pie. Yummy, yummy. We will definitely be back.

Food was quite good but appetizers ordered well before the meal were never delivered. Our table had to make the server aware that we did not receive the Appetizer. Many apologies from several people after our Meal was delivered. While they did remove the Appetizer from the check which was absolutely necessary they offered compensation on a Desert and only took $1.40 off the price pf the Desert ! Hardly equal to the offense ! This alone means we will never return.

Absolutely fantastic experience!! Food was amazing, our server was extremely attentive and so sweet. I could have stayed all day and looked at everything in the store next door. The views are gorgeous. Will definitely make this place one of our regular eatery’s. I do recommend that you make a reservation as we heard the hostess telling someone it would be a good 1 1/2 hours for a table. Hope they stayed as it is well worth the wait!!

Every single time............doesn't matter if it's breakfast or lunch............the service and attention to detail can't be topped!!! Not to mention, the FOOD!!! ALWAYS sooooo good.........NEVER lessens in quality, presentation, and deliciousness!!!! WOW!!! Not a finer BREAKFAST in Kerrville, for sure!!! Need to get the word out about the 7 day a week BREAKFAST----- PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW!!! The Manager ALWAYS COMES OUT to get feedback, and to make sure everyone is super pleased!!!!! We enjoyed our lunch. The food was good and prepared well. Our server did a good job. We have eaten at Camp Verde since before the nice new big restaurant was built. The food has always been good. The problem is that they still do not have the pie crust down. You cannot cut the crust without destroying the pie. Until they can get the pie crust right they won’t get a five star rating from me.

Great place for a meal in a unique setting. Good food, varied menu and fantastic service. It’s a special treat for us to go there.

Always a good choice to eat. Good service and delicious food. We had the BLT, Arthur’s Delight, Chicken salad croissant and the burger. Nice visit, interesting conversation and wonderful service.

Lovely surroundings, food excellent except for burned top of biscuits. Cheesy grits were superb-/light and fluffy with subtle cheese flavors. Waitress was a little confused at times, but very pleasant and quickly corrected errors. Great place for breakfast or lunch.

We were visiting in the area and chose to eat at Camp Verde for lunch. The good was delicious and Ellis provided excellent service. We enjoyed looking around the store before and after our meal. We will return.

Exceeded our expectations. Servers Lyndsey, Patty, Ellis & Debbie are especially awesome. First class service & food. We were there on Valentine's Day & had exceptional service. Great ambience. We didn't feel rushed, we were welcomed. Highly recommendation. Its more than a restaurant. Its a destination.
