Disappointing. We dined for Mothers Day 5/24. This is a restaurant stuck in the past. They serve large portions at large prices, but with mediocre food quality. Decor is dark and dated. Service was efficient and pleasant. Then menu is a large, heavy book, exactly as seen on the website, plus a few verbally described specials, with no prices told. Italian American classic dishes are on the menu, but are gussied up with added ingredients that are not needed - and add to the cost. Stracciatella soup, pasta is added. Zucchini Flowers are stuffed, fried with balsamic glaze. Crabmeat Cocktail was a mayo based salad with excessively onion. Arancini needed to have some bolognese sauce in the fried rice ball, to make for a less dry, heavy starch. Baccala “Best on the Hill” was tough, as if it had been soaked, but not cooked (if you know, you know.) Veal Francese, meat was unseasoned, beneath a much too thick coating of egg, as if wrapped in an omelet. Bananas Foster was fruit, sauce, whipped cream laid atop the crepe, folded into a 1/2” thick, heavy base. Heavy and Bland are the best descriptor of this restaurant’s offerings, I am sorry to say. The food here has none of the elegant simplicity of true Italian food.

Went out for a birthday celebration. For a big party, the service and food were great. Definitely one of the best restaurants on the hill.

Food,server and service were excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. Our appetizers, main meals and desserts were excellent. We enjoyed the evening and will return soon!

Service was fantastic. Food was unbelievable. We received table visits from both Chef John and General Manager George. Camille’s made our early Mother’s Day an experience memorable one. We can’t wait to get back in.

This was a special evening for 6 dear friends and we were all treated like honored guests!! From our greeting upon arrival to our good night from the valet- our service was superb, food, drinks and dessert were all exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

First time dining here. Food was good. Our server was a little bit rude (even rolled his eyes when I asked if they had juice for our child.) But overall we had good service. I would go back again.
