This was our first visit. I thought the food was superb and the service was excellent. The salmon was melt in your mouth delicious. I paired it with some angel hair pasta, sautéed in olive oil and garlic, and I thought I died and went to heaven!

The food and the service are incredible. They want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. They sincerely want you to enjoy a great meal. The grouper special was out of this world. Absolutely delicious food. Will keep returning.

Such a fantastic dinner. Everyone, all 4 of us ate everything, from the appetizers, which were fantastic. We had the mushrooms caps and the smoked salmon was the best I ever had. I had their grouper special with sun-dried tomatoes, and lobster, and I couldn’t. I couldn’t eat it all myself because everybody kept taking a piece of it. It was so good the lasagna over the top everything the service. One of the best chefs and owners in Tampa. Steve G

Caffe Paradiso is by far and away the best place for an Italian meal in South Tampa, and it's our go to place for dinner. It's a delightful neighborhood Italian restaurant with a warm friendly staff, excellent fresh food and a consistently great experience.

Despite reservations and half-full occupancy when we arrived, we were sat in a tight spot by the entrance. The food was wonderful, but I found myself rushing to leave from the noise my phone kept warning me about instead of thoroughly enjoying my meal. Unfortunately, one and done.

Our server Nick was attentive and helpful. We had the menu specials and enjoyed them a lot: seafood salad and burrata along with eggplant rollatini for our appetizers, then papardelle with short ribs and the veal paradiso. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Have not been to Cafe Paradiso in a while and that was a mistake - the food and service was just outstanding and I didn’t have to wait for a month or two to get a Saturday night reservation. Had the snapper dish and it was cooked perfectly. Will be back soon.

We used to dine here all the time but our last experience was terrible. First came a misogynistic crack from our waiter, then the wrong meal served to my friend. When she pointed it out she was practically accused of being confused. Next the crab in the linguine dish was 1 day away from being spoiled & was very fishy. As a Physician, I know what is safe to eat. No one came to check on our food until the rest were 1/2 way done. When we complained we were just stared at and had to insist the food be removed. No immediate apologies were forthcoming. We were offered nothing else & only 1 meal was deducted from the bill at our insistence. I attribute our poor service to our gender as we were the only all female table. Only at the very end was any attempt made to compensate us for a ruined birthday celebration. I note several other less than glowing reviews for 3/24. So sad they they have slid so far in service and quality of the food. Maybe it is time for a change in staff before irreparable reputation damage occurs.

Love this place. It is 5 minute away from our house and is our go to place for a great meal. The owners and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. And the food is always amazing and consistently great.

Disappointing. We picked this restaurant based on great reviews. Unfortunately, it was not great. We had Calamari Fritti, Veal Saltimbocca and Linguine Bolognese. All mediocre. The veal was way too thin and smothered in too much sauce. No homemade pasta. The bolognese was very bland, mushy and almost too sweet. The place was packed. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes or hit an off night?

Always a fabulous experience! Nick, our server, was very attentive and professional as are all the servers at Caffe Paradiso. We had two of the specials which were a grouper piccata with lump lobster meat and a squid ink pasta with seafood. Both were delicious. At the end of our meal, the owner even stopped by to check on us and ask about our experience. Five stars!!

Always a wonderful meal! They added a lobster tail to the crab linguine which we always get with pink sauce and it is a yummy addition to the generous amount of crab. Others enjoyed the snapper, fresh and light, the grouper so much it could not be finished.
