Terrible acoustics, had to speak loudly to be heard. Our dishes, fish and eggplant parm, were just okay. The Chardonnay was decent. I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years. Always had the pasta dishes. If I go back, I would stick to that.

Sat outside and enjoyed a super evening .. great wine, salad, pasta and desert with cafe. Great neighborhood find and wish I lived nearby:) I will return in my next visit! Thank you.

My favorite local Italian casual restaurant on the UES. Given the enormous number of local Italian restaurants, that is saying a lot.

Wonderful service with insightful opinions on what to order if you’re into that. Great date night with affordable options and amazing fresh pasta. I would recommend their vodka sauce.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Manhattan. Its better than the restaurants in lit tle Italy. The food is fabulous. We come from Westchester and the upper west side. You go hear for the food not the decoration.

Food was average. Service - no one checked on us to refill wine or otherwise. Extremely loud when the place was full. Could barely hear my my companion. Won’t be returning.

Had an incredibly delicious meal at Cafe Buon Gusto. My partner and I got the shrimp and scallop appetizer, apple and goat cheese salad (SO good), veal tortellini with Alfredo, and the butternut squash ravioli special. The staff was so kind and welcoming, and made an excellent first impression on us — we will absolutely be returning!
