A Classic French Bistro in the heart of Edison Park has been a dream of Executive Chef and owner Joe Calabrese for several years. Joe was professionally trained at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. Before opening his other restaurant, Zia’s Trattoria (located one block west of Café Touché at 6699 N. Northwest Highway) in 1997, he was sharpening his professional – and knife – skills at several well-respected Chicago dining establishments including Ambria, Spiagia, Un Grand Cafe and the Park Hyatt. Joe lives in Park Ridge, a few short miles from the restaurants, so expet to see him in both restaurants assuring a quality experience for his customers. On days off, Joe can be found at home with his wife, Mary Kay and their 3 boys. Reservations by phone: 773-775-0909. This is the only restaurant I go to on my birthday. Last night we sat at the bar for the first time. We had a blast! Love the Lyonnaise Salad. Love the bartender’s service. Loved everything.

Went to Café Touché for Mothers Day dinner with a party of four. We arrived 30 mins early, Café was busy but they were able to seat us straight away. Food was great, service was friendly and engaging. All over a very pleasant evening out.

My wife and I love Cafe Touche. Every time we go the food is perfect and the service is impeccable.

We had a 2:00PM reservation for 5 on Mother’s Day but we had to wait 1 hour to be seated and another hour before we received our food. We were there for well over two hours. It was our first time there, but I don’t think we’ll go back anytime soon.

Was the Best mother’s Day I ever had , food was amazing service was unreal Cody made us feel like we were the only customers in the room. Portions large took leftovers home.
