Excellent food and service from start to finish. Our server Alex was one of the best I’ve had there. Anticipating our needs before we had them…water glasses filled, next drink asked right as we get to the bottom of our drink and everything brought out timely. Superb.

Every aspect of the dining experience was impeccable. And considering it was university graduation and upcoming mother's day it was crowded at lunch time, but the waiting was very short & organized. This was my third time here and I will come back again.

I am always so blown away by Cafe Pacific. The serve and the food is always top shelf. The executive chef even came out to ask us how our food was!

Food is always outstanding. Service past two times has been disappointing. The wait persons that we have had past two times seem to forget about us. At times items we have ordered are not brought. They seem to favor other tables. That has been an issue when they sit us on the left side of the restaurant. When we have sat at the main hall service seems to be far more attentive. It appears the they assign less experienced wait staff to that left corner section. It is as if they are in training. Our lesson is that in the future we will request to sit in main hall. When you dine at this restaurant, a Dallas institution, you pay top dollar for high quality food and service, you should expect and get that. If we are going to get a wait person that is inexperienced or in training, maybe we should get a training discount. It has been disappointing lately. I am giving the restaurant 4 stars because the food and ambiance are excellent, but if we continue to have disappointing service in the future, we might not be as accommodating.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.

We drive from McKinney for their fabulous seafood. We enjoy lunch. Too much traffic for dinner time with the long drive and we aren’t night owls!

We’ve dined at Cafe Pacific many times; we live 400 miles away and try to schedule a dinner there on each visit with family in Dallas. As always, the food was fabulous. However, the initial greeting by maitre d’ was insulting. Rather than welcoming us she looked us over and said “no one is wearing shorts, right?” We (3 of us, ages 83, 78 and 48) are well aware of the dress code and were appropriately dressed but nonetheless we got a once-over to apparently see if we were worthy. Server (who has served us several times) seemed totally disinterested. At one point he knocked over a wine glass ( thankfully empty) in front of my husband but no apology was offered. It seemed to us that they were eager for us to dine and leave as soon as possible. We will rethink our dining options for our future visits to Dallas.

I have been dining at Cafe Pacific since it opened. The service is impeccable and the food is consistently delicious and of the highest quality. I always leave with a wonderful dining experience. Wonderful dinner on a Tuesday night. Split an entree and shared a salad and some side dishes. Very nice wine list. Every dish was wonderful and service was impeccable. Had dessert and coffee as well. Quiet dining room and clientele that respect the quality at hand. Left feeling really cared for. Best experience we have had in Dallas! Can’t miss!

Food and service were excellent, as usual. The only negative comment we all shared was that we were all disappointed in the shoestring fries. They were cold and greasy - like they had been made early morning or day before and sat in their basket.

We had a reservation and were on time. There were tables available, but we and another couple had to wait. Service could have been better. Waited awhile before our server came. We were ready to order but had to wait about 10 minutes to do so. The 3 men sitting behind us were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. All they were doing was drinking. Maybe they should have been seated in the bar area?

My wife and I had a fabulous meal in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The entire staff was very accommodating and welcoming.
