Café Marquesa’s "Contemporary American Cuisine” is a local favorite. Specialties include grilled meats and fresh, local seafood, complemented by inventive appetizers and desserts made daily.

Based on seasonal availability, our passionate culinary team select the finest seafood, meats and produce to design the menu. Innovative interpretations of classic dishes are presented each evening. A cozy bar is available for drinks, light bites, dessert and coffee or full meals. The ideal place for friends and hotel guests to meet prior to dinner and before or after the theater.

We have two intimate dining rooms, one is located directly within The Marquesa Hotel's charming parlor and the other is the cherished dining room of the café. You will be seated at the best available table, however if you have a preference, please let us know when making the reservation.

Even though they've been open for 36 years, this was our first time. The experience was outstanding, from the time we walked in the door to when we left. Stephanie did an excellent job as our server and the drinks and food were outstanding. The fish entrees had a great presentation and were delicious.

The cuisine and service were exceptional! Unfortunately there was a large party in the middle of the restaurant that appeared to think they were in a bar on Duval Street. They were so loud that and we were unable to carry on a conversation at our table. (The diners on either side of us were equally disturbed). We asked the waiter if they could ask the loud partners to speak in an “inside” voice but no effort was made to correct the unfortunate situation.

Great Experience,whenever we are in key west we make it a point to have dinner, and it always a great experience, last night dinner was over the top . Complements to the chef and great staff!

Our dinner was outstanding. The food was far superior to any other we have had on our trip. We would definitely dine here again. Expensive but worth it!

The service was the best we’ve had at any restaurant in Key West and the food is some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Can’t wait to go back.

Our dinner here was fantastic. The beef tenderloin Oscar did not disappoint. The beef was so tender. Glad we decided not to skip dessert. The beignets were light as a feather and delicious. Service was flawless. We brought our own wine for a small corkage fee. The restaurant was full but we never felt rushed or neglected. Chef Laurence was amazing and talented. Thanks for an incredible evening.

Excellent dining experience for a birthday celebration. Great menu variety with seafood and steak options. Beautifully presented. Servers are attentive. Cocktails are wonderful. Beignets make the meal as a fantastic dessert.

Very small intimate restaurant with great upscale food. Our waiter, Wilson, was amazing and helped us choose the perfect dinner. A pricey dinner. But worth every penny!!
