Mother's Day dinner, and the place just wasn't ready to handle the volume. After an hour-and-a-half, entrees came out and mine was both cold and under-cooked, which is kind of a double layer of incompetence: not preparing it properly, and then leaving it to languish on the counter for who-knows-how-long. I declined to have them "fix" it, as they've pretty much put themselves on my spit-list. For an upscale, full-of-itself venue, one would expect a lot better.

Our waitress was very nice but we were underwhelmed by the pace of the kitchen. I understand it was mother's day evening but we made an early reservation to avoid the crowd. It took an hour to get our meal and by then our toddler was losing control and we asked for our meals to go. I've only ever been to Cafe Lily after the lunch rush so maybe that's what I need to stick to.

Went here for Mother’s Day with a party of 10. They sat us early and the food was good. Service to get the food was a little longer than desired but nothing egregious. Nice brunch spot I would come back.

I chose the lamb gyro; it tasted more like dry steak, not tender at all on pita bread. Brunch was served, was looking for a better meal. Food was not seasoned, so I sent my first order back and got the salmon which was undercooked (raw half way through)…..not a good experience on Mother’s Day…..

We’ve eaten at the Lily for years and are amazed at the consistent quality of both the food and the service. Last night, the night before Mother’s Day it was booked all night but the food was perfectly prepared and the service was attentive. Well done!

I have eaten here many times, mostly lunch. 2 of us ordered the beet and walnut salad and 2 ordered the Caesar salad. Neither had much dressing. You certainly couldn’t see any. The presentation wasn’t impressive either. I did order the single crab cake as my meal. Crab cake was very good. All crab. Both men ordered the full size of the shrimp appetizer. 2 bowls each with only 3 shrimp . Lots of oil. Maybe it would have gone further with a loaf of bread but it was never suggested nor was bread served. It came as an afterthought on my part. One person ordered the butternut squash ravioli and at least it was filling and looked good. Disappointed in the amount of food for the price. Think I will stick to lunch in the future.

Always a pleasure to eat with the stellar team at Cafe Lily. We were there for a quick meal prior to the theatre so we rushed it a bit but our server was awesome and the food was fantastic as always!

The staff and desserts were great! The food wasn't up to expectations and left us all feeling disappointed. The butternut ravioli was drowning in the olive oil/butter sauce. The Lamb dish was leaking flavors other than some spice. The signature seafood dish was bland, and the scallops could have been seared more.

The halibut special was delicious. Service was spot on, even though the restaurant was super busy. The bartender did a great job with the Old Fashioned. One of the owners stopped by to check on us. Everything was great! We will go back soon.

My husband and I were at Cafe Lily for the first time. It is a lovely cafe surrounded by windows at street level. When we arrived there were just a few people there, but every table was taken by the time we left. There was no issue with noise at all. The food was excellent and our waiter, Chad, was personable and helpful. I would highly recommend Cafe Lily.

The atmosphere and customer service was wonderful! Went for Easter. Loved our waiter. However, the food wasn’t very good. We were disappointed in the lack of quality of our omelets and the side orders of sausage and bacon. $7 each!!! The Greek omelets hardly had any stuffings or cheese inside. Wouldn’t go back for breakfast.

One of our go to places. Service was outstanding. The manager covered our check for our willingness to change tables to accommodate a large group and the resulting slower service. Did not expect this, but what a nice thing to do!

We had a lovely lunch at Cafe Lily. We ordered three different sandwiches, and all were excellent. Loved the tomato basil soup. They were not serving bread pudding but that just gives us a reason to go back.

We were seated too close to the entrance. It became quite crowded with guests waiting to be seated. People were standing very close to us. It’s not a very comfortable feeling.

We mentioned we were celebrating a birthday when we made our OpenTable reservation for seven people. When we arrived, we found we have been given a small private room off of the main dining room, and it was perfect! Fatima, our server, was wonderful! She took very good care of us, and gave us guidance about our menu choices. All in all, a lovely celebration with excellent food and service and atmosphere.

Server was nonchalant and aloof. Coffee took 10 minutes to arrive. 2 cocktails took a reminder and another 10 minutes. Her overall demeanor was condescending and fake. To add insult to injury - the 20% gratuity was added automatically- for 3 adults and 2 kids. We won't be back.
