We have The English Garden surrounding the stone fireplace. This accommodates parties up to fifty guests. We also have The Library which accommodates up to 30 guests. The two areas are adjacent to each other and can accommodate 80 guests total. The bungalow also will make the entire restaurant available for a negotiated price.

For the best lobster and/or steak in the greater Newport area, the Bungalow should be your choice. The thing I like best about the Bungalow is that when you've been there a few times, the managers and the servers remember you. I am always happy to take guests there, and they're never disappointed.

When we found out our original plans for our Mom (that we made weeks ago) for Mother's Day was not going to happen (very last minute), my hubby and I knew we better jump to it and make a Plan B. I went online to OpenTable and to my great surprise there was an opening in their cozy, fireplace, outside dining area available for the 3 of us the evening before Mother's Day! Truth is, it was close by where we live and our Mom too. We picked her up at home and drove to the restaurant. The Valet's were ready for us. I gave the hostess our information and she quickly located our reservation. We were shown to our seats - right below the ceiling heaters and near the fireplace. Comfort galore! Our dinners were prepared to perfection and the service was stellar. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the ambiance and the wonderful time spent with our Mom. She was equally pleased that everything had fallen magically into place. It was a beautiful evening and we all look forward to returning to The Bungalow on another evening soon.

We always enjoy our dinner here. The Calamari appetizer and warm rolls are excellent. The Halibut and Seabass are excellent entrees. The Butter Cake and chocolate cake are also very good. Service is always great, too. Our only complaint is the additional charge for using a credit card.

Our steaks were overcooked. We ordered a medium-rare filet and medium ribeye, but both were cooked to a more medium-well. They were good, but not up to Bungalow's usual standards. The waitstaff was terrific; they replaced the filet.

Such a tasteful environment, complete with white linen table cloths. Perfect place for a romantic evening, a special celebration, date night. The food was wonderful, the wine list had lots of interesting selections. Sometime I’d like to hang out in the cozy bar. I highly recommend The Bungalow

The food and service were top notch. Derrick, our server, was terrific. We celebrated a birthday and sat in a booth. The Bungalow is a wonderful restaurant and is consistent in their delicious food and service.

Billy is the best server ever! We had the three course spring meal And it was amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was delicate with a crispy crust and a delectable sauce. The corn chowder was perfect. My husband had the lobster pot pie which was flavorful and the lobster tender. We always come to The Bungalow when visiting CA twice a year and consistently get the best service and a memorable meal!

it is hard to beat the ambiance and quality of the Bungalow. Our Easter dinner could not have been better. We love the kind of clubby atmosphere in the bar and the Happy Hours one of the best! Halibut is a dish we absolutely love and there it is a standout. Corn chowder is like dessert. Some have said the 'burger' parallels the best ever. Could not recommend more.

This was an Easter prix fixe brunch, $38 for two courses. My wife stuck with it and got a tiny salad and a small piece of fish with a vegetable. My daughter and I added shrimp as an appetizer (3 of them for $3 extra) and 6 oz of prime rib for +$8 each, so the $38 became $49, and dessert is priced separately. Wine by the glass and cocktails were expensive. So the food was good (especially the prime rib), the service was excellent, but I came away thinking that I didn't get good value for money, especially since I needed a sandwich later because I hadn't had enough to eat.

The service was outstanding. Our server was very helpful in picking which order we should drink the wine we brought. Our cocktails were large and delicious. The food was over the top delicious. This restaurant attracts seniors such as us so the noise level is very low. We come here whenever we are in Newport Beach.

When I booked online, I had the choice between standard or outdoor seating. I selected standard seating. We were in fact seated on an outdoor patio, with wind pushing the curtain against the back of my husband's head throughout our meal. It was a cold night, and the outdoor heaters were insufficient for keeping the cold wind out because the two sides of the patio are open. The server was knowledgeable and efficient. I liked my burrata/tomato salad. I strongly disliked the lobster pasta dish, which was soaking in chili oil and overly doused with parsley. Looking back, I should have asked to be seated inside, and I should have ordered something different.

Excellent all around. Nice dinner house experiences with venue size just right. Nice vibe. Food outstanding. Filet with peppercorn sauce and halibut both unsurpassed. Nice wine list and house specialty old fashioned great. Reasonable cab by the glass also. Not inexpensive but yiu pay for what you get and the Bungalow never disappoints

Went to Bungalow to celebrate a birthday with friends. Husband and I decided to return a week later, we had the same server, Rob. When we sat down, he remembered our drink order. Always a fantastic evening we are hooked.

Stuck is in a back room with zero ambiance for our 25th atmosphere. All the waiters came in and out of that area to get and deliver food. Some hall closet with electrical equipment was opened every 5 minutes. Half the tables in this area were empty. The food was exceptionally salty. Waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. Had my food wrapped up after 2 bites and ate it at home. Could no longer stand watching the back and forth of the staff.

If you are sat downstairs, don't be put off. It's really a great room and when other folks join you don't even notice. Food and service were great.

Our waiter Sean was terrific and super attentive. The hostess also went out of her way to accommodate our table request. We were very impressed especially since it was the last night of OC Restaurant Week and berry crowded.

Another wonderful dinner at The Bungalow. We snuck in on the last night of OC Restaurant Week. Peter enjoyed the Corn Chowder Soup, 10 oz. lobster tail with mashed potatoes. And creamy Cheesecake (to go). So amazing. I had the Blackened Salmon and it was perfect. The sauce was Devine and a dollop of guacamole on top were so flavorful. We have The English Garden surrounding the stone fireplace. This accommodates parties up to fifty guests. We also have The Library which accommodates up to 30 guests. The two areas are adjacent to each other and can accommodate 80 guests total. The bungalow also will make the entire restaurant available for a negotiated price.
