    Reception at the bar gives impression of being in a train station waiting hall. Apart from this great location and food.

    Our Server, Griffin, was terrific! Provided great insight and also brought vegetarian options to one diner in our party. Fabulous experience!!

    Food was good per usual. Service was poor, waiter missing in action , table not cleaned after each course, utensils brought out after food was served.

    Comme toujours, nourriture excellente. Notre serveuse était un peu froide mais professionnel! Nous étions en bas donc j’avais peur pour le bruit mais étant entre la grande salle et la ‘bibliothèque’ c’était parfait, nous pouvions nous entendre en discutant.

    The food was delicious. The waiter was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant seems to believe that a steady stream of music with a pounding beat makes dining pleasant. I fail to understand why Buddakan and many other restaurants create this annoyance. It makes it impossible to hold a conversation and is injurious to hearing. As good as the food was, I’m not sure I would go back.

    A nice dinner with good service in a spectacular setting ... I do wish they would stop making people wait in the bar for their table when the restaurant is not even close to capacity.

    The quality of food has deteriorated over a period of time. Some of the dishes could have been prepared better for Crab fried rice was wet & soggy !! Some of the steam food was falling into pieces or so wet stuck to the plate !!

    Food was mediocre. Lemon chicken and Monk Fish dishes were both way too sweet, rice had a creamy sauce that was not very appealing. Potstickers were great and so was the cauliflower dish.

    We liked what we ordered but the place was packed and crammed up over capacity. However no complain on service despite it being one of the busiest day.

    Food was sub par, some stale and some bland. It’s been a long time since I wished I had not dined at a specific restaurant but this is one I’ll for sure not be going back to.

    Waiting time to order drinks was very long and put a damper on the enjoyment when you sit with water for 30 mins, while looking for your waiter. The music was turned up so loud at the end that we could not hear each other and ended up going for dessert somewhere else.

    It was my first time visiting this place and I truly enjoyed the experience. My only complaint is that the place is a little too dark. It was difficult to see the menu. Our servers name was Calvin. He was extremely polite and informed about the menu.

    We had the cauliflower lollipops and they’re terrible. It’s just a big blob of breading with cheese inside. Service was extremely slow. This is our third time dining at this restaurant and the food was just not up to par.

    The food was very good and so was the service. The person who attended us was very helpful and polite. The ambience is great in the main room but very indifferent in the other sections. We were seated in the most remote table so could not feel the vibe of the place at all. Still it was extremely noisy, not from the music but from the adjacent tables discussions. Ask for a table in the main room or at least close to it

    Wish some of the dishes were a smidge hotter in temp when served, and a smidge more in portions for sharing. Other than that, incredible dining experience. Can’t wait to come back.

    It was the first time I have had the opportunity to enjoy a restaurant that I have heard nothing but great things about and it did not disappoint. Our waiter, DEREK, was phenomenal! He was very personable and had great suggestions. Delivered on special requests and was happy to accommodate. Ask for Derek and he will make a great night a superb night!

    Beautiful restaurant, discreet entrance. Eclectic blend of furnishings, architecture, artwork and cuisine. It is timeless as well as space less, yet feels grounded. 11/10 recommend.

    Although we have booked our dinner one month in advance!!! they couldn’t accommodate us at the main dinning hall as requested! Instead after a half an hour wait at the lobby we were seated at a table far daine in a dark uninterested room without even a view of the main hall! If you are not setting at the main hall or at least around the main hall, it doesn’t really worth it!

    Love the food here, I’ve been coming since the early days and never get disappointed. The service was average, you could sense the waitress was mainly interested in having us consume more, and she brought the bill before we asked for it. Big faux pas. The noise level is also a reason why I wouldn’t go back.
