Me and my husband got a traditional breakfast plate. Eggs, potatoes and bacon with a side of toast for me and pancakes for my husband. The potatoes tasted old, like they had been sitting under a heater for too long and my sourdough toast was burnt and did not taste like quality bread. I eat good quality sourdough every day and what I had tasted bland and cheap is the best way I can describe it. The bacon was okay but again didn’t taste the freshest. I thought maybe it was just me so I asked my husband how his potatoes were and he said the same, tasted old, not fresh. I’m a personal chef and I only use fresh whole foods daily so I know what good quality and fresh taste like. When the server asked how everything was, I was polite but honest. My husband and I are both very non confrontational people so I wasn’t intending to upset anyone or get a free meal, I am just someone who values speaking honestly. The manager came to our table before we could leave and asked me about it. I explained everything again to her and she said they cook their potatoes fresh every day throughout the day and the bread comes from some place I’ve never heard of, a bakery I believe. I appreciated her effort but it didn’t change the fact that the food didn’t taste fresh or quality but we didn’t get the feeling that she believed me and perhaps thought I was just trying to complain or get a free meal - which was not the case. She sounded calm enough when speaking but her energy felt like she was annoyed. She said she’d take my meal off our bill, which me and my husband both said that wasn’t necessary as we still intended to pay for the food, we just wouldn’t be returning. She took my meal off anyways, which just seems like the standard response to something like this but that wasn’t my intention. The food is pricey and for the quality it’s not worth it. We still won’t be returning. The pancakes my husband got were delicious, although expensive for pancakes.

Overall was a disappointing experience. My expectations were higher than what we experienced. This is a very casual place. Food pretty good but overpriced. $20 for a plain cheese omelette. The smell from the seals etc was overpowering!!! Absolutely an unpleasant odor. So unformed a place with such a beautiful view. Probably won’t go back.

View is spectacular as it is across from the beach. The smell from the sea lions is overwhelming at first but once in the restaurant it tones down. The seats were not very comfortable, and the tables were close together. Service was good as was the food. There were 6 of us for breakfast. It was very expensive which appears to be the way of dining out in this day and age. I did not appreciate the 20% gratuity added to the check for a "large" party (I don't think 6 constitutes large) (I would have preferred to add my own percentage), as well as the surcharge added to the bill. It was a very expensive brunch, although we did enjoy mimosas. I would think twice about returning.

The food and service were absolutely amazing!!! Incredible views as well! The only down fall was the noise from the construction on the deck outside which is obviously a temporary inconvenience. Otherwise it was incredible!

They were awesome, did us a solid on staying open a little late for a post engagement dinner. Everything was fantastic.

I booked a table for 6 a month ago for my daughters Baby Shower brunch - on a Saturday! They were so gracious and gave me a private table area and let me dress the table with some lined and flowers. When I called the day before they did say they could not guarantee early access - but the stars were aligned! They invited us to stay as long as we wanted (also super lucky no reservations booked for the space after us). we lingered, sipped sangria and opened presents after we ate our delicious brunch. We took tons of beautiful pictures - what a view! Forever memories. Thanks to all.
