Hostess, excellent! Waitress excellent! Champagne 1/2 price excellent! Omelette Station needs at least if not 2 more servers/ cooks due to the long wait. Twenty minute wait at least. Selection was varied, good choices , however not seasoned as expected. Beef and Ham stations especially. Caesar salad was out once, then gone and back again. Same with chicken wings. Biscuits dry , no soup . Lots of desserts and delicious chocolate dip strawberries. Price was fine due to the variable items and choices.

I have been celebrating special occasions at this restaurant for many years. I was pleased with the service and attention we got from everyone. The choice of dishes was great except for one green vegetable, which was were thought to cut but fortunately, it was replaced with a second option without any problem. We are looking forward to our next visit!

I had scallops and my wife had salmon. Both entrées were excellent. The waiter, Laura, did a great job as well. She was attentive but not obtrusive. We were sitting by the kitchen, it a little noisy but not overly offensive. We enjoyed our meal tremendously and will return.

Revisited this local favorite with friends. Inside, the old school ambiance is familiar and comfortable. Great service. Prices have gone up naturally, but all was tasty and fresh.

Very nice experience. Excellent food choices. The fish we had was fresh and prepared well. Joan was a terrific server. Manager stopped by to check on everything.

Decided to dine at Bristol for our anniversary dinner. Upon being seated we ordered our food and was basically ignored the remainder of the time that we dined. The waiter visited every other table in the area besides ours. I had to get up and ask the manager to provide the ticket so that we could leave. Worst decision I could have made eating there. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Better off paying more for better service.

Another great experience at a top-notch St Louis eatery. Service, ambience, and the food was really fine. And recognizing my wife's birthday was a nice gesture. Our entire group was very happy with the Bristol!

We’ve eaten here so many times over the years. This is the first time we’ve ever left feeling disappointed. We ordered the platter that comes with all kinds of different seafood. We get it every time. We love it! The oysters were small and not great. The shrimp was chewy, almost inedible. The lobster and crab legs were great! The shrimp scampi was good. The Bang Bang shrimp was really underwhelming and I’m not sure I would get that again. All of the main courses were just so far off from what we typically expect. I ordered the surf and turf, with a 6 oz filet and crab cakes. The filet was the thinnest filet I’ve ever seen. The Brussel sprouts were so undercooked that I couldn’t chew them. I like them crispy but these were borderline raw. Another member of our party ordered the Cowboy Ribeye. It came out undercooked. Ordered it medium and it came out medium rare. The same thing happened with another persons Scallops entree. The larger of the scallops were cooked perfectly but the small ones were way overcooked and the risotto was on the bland side. The timing of the dishes coming out was way off, too….to the point of feeling rushed. We ordered 4 appetizers and 3 of our party also ordered soups/salads. The main course was coming out before we had finished…like, way before. Since we’ve had so many great experiences here, we’ll certainly give it another go soon. I just hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

Celebrated a 96th Birthday! We were pleased to be seated in a private area that could be closed with curtains. Food was excellent. What really made it terrific was server, Rebecca.... we have not had that kind of attentive (without being annoying) service in a long time. She was fun, informative, cheerful and a joy. She is a real asset to the restaurant!

It was very good, not perfect, but the fact that it was quite quiet and that the service was excellent made it a very good choice for us. Seems pretty pricey for what you get, but I did appreciate the coupon that was sent in advance. I would go back!

The salad and the Brussels sprouts were not up to par. Brussels sprouts were very hard (under cooked) and taste less. The salad had very little lettuce for what paid for them.

We always have a great time here. Our server was exceptional. He introduced himself at the beginning, then told us to ask for him when we returned the next time. His own personal touch.

First time for Sunday Brunch. We were wowed by the fresh seafood, especially the oysters on the half shell, shrimp and the tuna was fantastic! Didn't have room for dessert but had the carrot cake, panna cotta and the bread pudding anyway. :)

The waitress couldn’t have been nicer. Two of the meals were good, one was bad. So bad, I would think long before I’d go back. Once again, the waitress was great. Where we were seated was loud with kitchen noise and disruptive to a quality time dining.

Lovely setting for a special dinner out with family. Food and service were both impeccable. All had seafood and everyone enjoyed their meal. Cioppino was probably my favorite from all that I tried but the scallops, salmon and tuna were cooked perfectly!

Food was very good but the service was poor. There were too few people waiting tables for the number of customers. Service was rushed. There were two errors on our bill.

Our experience is not one where it is enjoyable if we load servers with large stations, I agree. I am happy to discuss any errors on your bill and make them right. Bristol’s provides a wonderful dining experience. The chef and kitchen staff prepare seafood in a variety of ways and it is all tasty. The wait staff are attentive and management staff are both present and personable with patrons. The atmosphere is quiet and provides both small group and larger group dining. I would highly recommend Bristol’s.

Excellent service. Very nice atmosphere. Small portion on crab cakes entree, not flavorful, and didn’t like the potatoes, Asparagus was good. Dining partner had the Angus burger, enjoyed it, but didn’t like the potatoes. High pricing for what we received. We might recommend with reservations since we had a previous excellent experience.

I had made this reservation for 10 people for my team from work and when we arrived, they showed us to a private room so it was a nice surprise. Everything was great! Thank you for making a memorable lunch experience for us all.

This was my 1st time dining at Bristol's, my husband ordered the sea bas and a strip steak. After the order was placed the waiter came back to the table and said "sir your food total will be $96" like how rude and tacky was that! Like we clearly saw the price on the menu. I asked for the manager and he stated every waiter has to come back and let the guest know their total when ordering 2 meals. I don't believe that. My husband loved his meal, me personally I will never go back.

I am sorry that you felt that you were somehow singled out. Whenever someone says I want X entree and Y entree, like a combo, then yes, I ask them to go back to the table and explain that the combo prices would not translate into the item chosens and that we would need to charge the new price. We have several times where people want a combo but instead of the salmon they get another fish. The pricing will be the cost of both entrees minus the cost of the extra sides. We have had situations where people thought we were taking advantage of them by not sharing this info. I am glad the food was great and hopefully you will try us again. Richard Heisler, GM

The table service and check-in service far exceeds expectations. The food taste and presentation was very disappointing. We have been coming to the Sunday brunch for over 10 years and since the pandemic the food choices are limited and the taste is less than impressive.

Excellent seafood in the heart of Saint Louis! Fresh fish options included Halibut, Salmon, Tuna, Sea Bass, Trout and assorted Shellfish. Started off with the Mussels and a couple of cocktails. all were perfectly served. Entrees included the Scallops and grilled Trout... Scallops were perfectly cleaned and cooked... carmelized edges and creamy centers. The Lobster Risotto and fennel salad were a perfect compliment. The Trout was prepared grilled on a wood fire. the flavor of the fish was not lost in the smokiness of the fire, and grilled asparagus and lobster risotto were excellent compliments to the fish. For dessert, the options all sound delicious, but the carrot cake is a must try. Not too sweet and a good balance of spice with the praline filling gives this cake a great balance. Definitely making a return visit to Bristol soon!
